What kind of job did Per had?
Is it truth, that he was an english teacher?
Mi_of_Halmstad said on September 12, 2004 19:09:
he used to work at a mushroom farm in fammarp.
and then as an unemployment service job he played at oldfolks homes.

It sounds the same person as on r2r asking similar... always beginning with ’is it truth’... I guess they really wanna know though? ;)

I think you may have mistaken Per for Sting with the teacher comment. :) Sting was once a teacher.

Per was once a teachers assistant but had to quit because kids were always asking for Autographs after the first album came out.
He laso did deliveries for his mom, picked mushrooms and worked at Building sites, also singing at old folks homes.

I always thouhgt that it was music that PER earned money from. I can’t image PER gathering mishrooms, working as a teacher’s assistant or in Building sites. Could someone give me the dates when HE had these jobs?
Denstandigaresan said on September 13, 2004 18:03:
Per is human... he wasn’t born with a guitar in his hands believe it or not! He had to earn money like everyone else first off! ;)

Flickorna på TV2 :: Gyllene Tider - The Girls on TV2
• Written in may 1979 by Per and MP. Per says the tune is typical of MP - far
too clever to have been written by me (Per). Per and MP were still picking
mushrooms at Fammarps Trädgård at this time.
(from roxette.co.uk, is also on several other sites, including TDR I believe)

i heard that he once worked on a pig farm and /or in a bacon packaging factory. That was on British Radio, so probably not true.

@DSR & ally... I’ll just shut my mouth here too...
.....after I said that I’ve seen this ’is it truth’-pattern for a long time now!
Denstandigaresan said on September 13, 2004 22:29:
You really don’t understand the ’i’ll keep my mouth shut’ thing do ya? Good job i’ll not a betting woman, cause you just ’Spoke’ NEHNEH.
They REALLY must wanna know though, but I put ;) this time, I curbed my tongue. ;)
*MUST REMEMBER to use a smiley. ;) Else paranoia sets in. ;)*

i know for a fact that per worked at a grocery store when he was in his teens. i know this because my best friends mom went to school with per and bengt.
AURYTE said on September 14, 2004 04:21:
I think many teenagers want to earn money themselves, so for me it’s natural that PER worked in HIS teens.

Don’t take “teacher” too seriously! I have also worked as an English “teacher” myself here in Sweden although I never studied to become a teacher. It’s just that in Sweden there are these kind of “circles” organised by adult (evening) schools and, well, if you can talk and write English and the “students” are interested, that’s enough! It’s no big deal... (it doesn’t pay very well either :-)
So I can imagine Per as an English teacher!

No, think it is not true thas he worked as an english teacher, never heard about that.
