Cover album by Roxette? What do you think?

What do you think of the idea of Roxette making a cover album? With all of Pers and Maries favourite songs recorded i their own way? I know Roxette never record covers, but maybe it could be nice anyway?

Not a bad idea—I do like Oh, Marie. But then again if they record together again, I would think most would prefer original material. It would be interesting if they covered something that got them back on the radio here in the States.

Never! It woudl be horrible. I don’t buy records, if the artist him/herself hasn’t wrote songs.

if they release a cover album they won’t have any rights on the songs (lyrics, composing) and they would only earn money from a tour, merchandising and promotion showcases and things like that. roxette wouldn’t get money if their songs were played on the radio & tv ... so a whole album with covered songs would be a bad suggestion in a economical point of view i guess.
