What's up with the recording times...?

Hey, as GT recorded their new album only in a couple of weeks’ of time I gotta wonder why do the recordings with Roxette take so long: from 6 months up to a year...?
The two new GT songs sound very good, sort of “free-ish” so why wouldn’t Roxette try it this quicker way and let go of some of that very over-producing style?
Just a thought for the future...

Per said in an interview recently that the next Roxette album will be recorded like this. That’s not saying there will be another though...

Yeah, Per should take Marie to Skåne and do something quick! Marie’s voice can do anything really, I can’t imagine Roxette would sound worse if they would leave out some of the synth.! On the contrary. I want a 100% pure voices of Marie and Per!! Everybody should go to Skane actually! Great things are happening down there!!

Oh don’t get me wrong, I would love another album next year, it’s just that I want to know if Marie is up to it first.

I think because Roxette is international and there’s more at stake, the record company is more involved I guess.
