It’s usually in July.. well was in 98! I was in Stockholm at the time having a weeks holiday when I was in an internet cafe in NK and discovered Marie was performing.. needless to say I was there! ;)

I think the best place to stay at is Zinkendamm youthhostel: http://www.zinkensdamm.com/ it’s just soooo close to the Pride Park (Tantolunden).
I think the park uses to open at around 11, they have stands by various gay-bars/pubs in the city that sell food, stands with sex stuff, different organisations/companies.. like the magazine QX and the online communities Sylvia + Sylvester.se
Efva Attling used to have a stand there but she stopped in 2000. She had a special offer in 2001 for people that went to her store with the week-ticket though (not sure if she still does have that).
And of course, the opening and closing galas are worth seeing! When they don’t have concerts at the Park - most of the gay pubs/bars have special parties :)
For girls one of the most attended is THE girls party.. but you should check the site and/or the program (that either you used to get for free if you got the week ticket or paying if you get a 1-2 day ticket..)
