From an irish point of view and roxette has had as much success in ireland as in the UK i think her songs would do well on there own, i feel that per sometimes did not wants maries material on the roxette albums.

Nah, don’t think so... It wil be very big in Sweden, doing well with the Scandinavian neighbours, maybe a bit in Germany.
That’s about it, and I guess that’ll be the goal anyway.
There will absolutly be some sold all over the world, I guess visitors of this site will be interested...

I don’t think per doesn’t wnat her material on roxette albums, it’s just that he writes better songs then marie.. i think marie is a great songwriter, but she writes much better in Swedish and she writes to slow songs....

I don’t how successful it will be, the only thing we all know is her songs, two in roxette’s albums and some stolen demos. Some likes roxette’s ones others not, but most of all in here thinks the demos are great - even better that several rox singles.
It’s still too early to have this discussion. We don’t even know how it will sound, if sounding like rox it will flop outside sweden, more her solo stuff will be interesting to see the world response, and something jazzy-blussie it will be big.
Maybe i’m completely wrong, we still have to wait a little longer.
I hope the best for Marie, and to see her back where she belongs.
