STHLM 23/24 July: Different ståplats-sections??
Emil__BG said on May 7, 2004 17:57:
We have tickets for 23 July on which stands:
Entre: Lidingovagen,
ståplats
Innerplan
does it mean it’s nearest to the stage??
Anyone who has bought a ståplats ticket where it says something else in addition to:
ståplats
Innerplan
???
Anyone who is sure to have a ticket for the second ståplats-section, which is supposed to be “not so crowded” according to a lady at TicNet – what is the name of that section? [what stands on the right-hand side of the ticket, besides “ståplats”]??
How many ståplats-sections are there actually [for entrance at Lidingovagen] ??

Yeah, there are. But you cannot choose a section if you book on the website! The options “Bästa lediga platser” and “Ståplatser” generate the same result.
However, if you call they ask where you’d like to be - “next to the stage, and then only be able to see the actual stage on a TV-screen” (?!?) or a bit further “where you can actually see the stage..and it shouldn’t be too crowded”.
[A friend in Sweden called them for me so I know that.]
But I don’t know how many sections there are - on the TicNet site it looks like there are 3! And I don’t know how are they called...
Anybody???...

what? There are different standing sections?
As I call them for the 23th July he ask only if I would like to standing or sit, and I said standing, but he didn´t told me that there are different sections. :-

Actually I just called TicNet and the lady I spoke with claimed there were NO different sectors - once you’re in you can go wherever you like!!
There are 4 sectors for *her* when she makes the booking but she wasn’t sure what was the difference for us, the buyers.
The “names” of the sectors she sees are: first, second, third and child-sector (!!!)... [You can see them on www.ticnet.se - but you can’t actually choose any. Children tix can only be bought by phone, BTW]
There are (at least) 2 entrances for standing tix: Lidingövägen and Valhallavägen.
Also, she wasn’t able to tell me if any of the entrances opens first.

And why it gives two entrances: Lidingövägen and Valhallavägen? Whats the difference between the 2 entrances?? I have written Valhallavägen on my ticket.

On my Ticket ist Entry Lidingovagen. What´s the different from the two Entries? Are that maybe the same, only a different Entry but the same chance to come on the front? Hope so!

Maybe yes, because it‘s a very big stadion and maybe it‘s to small and than to dangerous , if all people come to one entry. I think so!!

But if there are different sections that should mean that the entrances go to the different sections, I guess. Or do you think they “fill one section” and then close it to fill the others??
LittleGirl78 said on May 11, 2004 09:31:
yes I think it, or they take numbers for the first who are there and the first come in the first section and the latest in the next, like in much concerts. But I don´t think that they give the numbers on telephone already and make there clear who will come in the front. I don´t think that make so much different what for entry you have on your ticket. ;)

So there ARE diffrerent ståplatssections? I thought there were not?
As a matter of fact I’d appreciate if there were different sections, but then I’d obviously like to know where I’m placed... ;)
Seems otherwise obvious to me that it’s more crowded in the front... ;)
Someone who’s asked ticnet?
