I walk alone through the crowd
Nameless strangers push me to the ground
I can’t get back up again
so
I sink into the ground
Into blackness
I’m alone
Blissfully numb
where no pain can ever find me
again

From th ’Original lyrics’ topic:
“stunt101sista 4/24/2004 21:34
I don’t think u should write ur lyrics cuz some people are selfish and would steal them.”
I don’t mind typing up the poetry. I’d just hate the thought of someone stealing one of my songs!
poetry_princess said on May 3, 2004 03:40:
well, to be honest that poem of mine sucked. so if anyone wants to steal it, i’d feel embarrassed for them.
I have written a lot better.
the poems in Drowning In You,
I liked those.

Small talker u really don’t like Americans do u? Oh well...anyways...here’s something of mine. This is very personal and about how I feel:
Where do we go
What do we say
What do we do
Nowhere to turn
Nowhere to run
And it’s nothing new
Where do we go for inspiration
It’s like pain, it’s our only inspiration

kwelis girl “Small talker u really don’t like Americans do u?”
Were you saying that about my poem? That poem is about me - it’s about my hatred of the person I become when I’m in school. It has absolutely nothing to do with the yanks!
BTW: at the moment, yes - the yanks do annoy me!
kwelis_girl said on May 12, 2004 18:31:
Actually I was talking about what u said to Stunt.
Why you hate Americans? We are people just like you. Yea we have a stupid president right now but it’s almost time for elections and he will definitely be outta here. THANK GOD! Yea the war sucks too and he WAS trying to bully Iraq but really our country is the same as any other country. We are just known for a lot of things, bad and good: like fattest people (ashamed for that) and freedom (which I do NOT take for granted). There is no such thing as a perfect country and there never will be. It’s life. But don’t be so stereotypical about us. Have you even been to America? I mean if u only see America on TV well then u can’t always believe what u see on TV. But really what are ur reasons for disliking us? I want some good reasons and reasons other than the war.
You know Germans were the ones that caused WWI and WWII and no one ever says anything about them. We haven’t started any WW’s yet. But think about what the Germans did. They were worse than we are being now. So if you say that we are bad, re-think about that.
Small-talker said on May 13, 2004 14:41:
Yes, the Germans started the WW’s. But what has America done? Developed the A-Bomb, Agent Orange... the list of these destructive things is incomprehenceable. Thousands of children are still being born every year malformed because of the radiation left by these WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION!
And to be honest... I hate American arrogance! They think they can just walk over any country in the world and get away with it! These new photos are proof of it. YOU’VE CAUSE A WAR, THAT HAS KILLED 13,000 INNOCENT IRAQI CIVILAINS, and you caused it to get rid of Saddam for ’torturing his own people’. And that’s the type of stuff that the stupid US army is doing right now! No matter how widespread this abuse is (and trust me, it IS widespread!)... if even 1 recruit was to do this, it negates everything this war was about!
If any American was to do in your country what they did in Iraq, they’d be sent directly to the Electric Chair (which is another thing I don’t like...)
Oh and, by the way... this is for CoyboyUSA, the american army isn’t a peace-keeping force in any case. They run in, with their guns, and they shoot the hell out of everything! And then they get out of the country, and leave the natives to clean up the mess! The US Army could do with some tips from the Irish army (who’ve spent the last 20 years helping the people of the Lebenan get back on their feet!). The Irish Army is a celebrated peace-keeping force there, which is something I don’t think America has ever achieved!

Bad Day:
A Public service announcement followed me home the other day
I paid it nevermind.
Go away.
Shit so thick you could stir it with a stick- free Teflon whitewashed presidency
We’re sick of being jerked around
Wear that on your sleeve
Broadcast me a joyful noise unto the times, lord,
Count your blessings.
We’re sick of being jerked around
We all fall down.
Have you ever seen the televised St. vitus subcommittee prize
Investigation dance? Those-ants-in- pants glances.
Well, look behind the eyes
It’s a hallowed, hollow anesthesized
“save my own ass, screw these guys”
smoke and mirror lock down
Broadcast me a joyful noise unto the times, lord,
Count your blessings.
the papers wouldn’t lie!
I sigh. Not one more
Its been a bad day.
Please dont take a picture
Its been a bad day.
Please
We’re dug in the deep the price is steep.
The auctioneer is such a creep.
The lights went out, the oil ran dry
We blamed it on the other guy
Sure, all men are created equal.
Heres the church, heres the steeple
Please stay tuned–we cut to sequel
ashes, ashes, we all fall down.
Broadcast me a joyful noise unto the times, lord, Count your blessings.
Ebrace the lowest fear/Ignore the lower fears
Ugh, this means war.
Its been a bad day.
Br.
Broadcast me a joyful noise unto the times, lord,
Count your blessings.
We’re sick of being jerked around
We all fall down.
Its been a bad day...
Pleaase...

I LAUGHED SO HARD READING THIS!!!
“I’ve never heard of any radiation.”
THE BLOODY A-BOMB WAS MADE FROM RADIATION - HUGE AMOUNTS OF IT. ANOTHER SIGN OF AMERICAN UN-INTELLIGENCE AND ARROGANCE (COULDN’T BE BOTHERED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HELL IT IS THAT THEY ACTUALLY DONE!)
“U know those people don’t have to live there. I don’t expect them to get in a car or on a plane and leave-i know its not that simple, but they could go where its safe at least.” So you’re telling me, that if the UK bombed your town tomorrow, despite living there for decades, your family would just up and leave, would they? Take note that these Japanese families have been living there for milleniums!
“Oh and by the way we don’t have the electric chair anymore. Haven’t had it for a while (pretty sure of that).” Yeah, you now have the gas chamber! Oooh... what a step-up!!!
HU HU HU HU, HA HA HA HA HAH HAH HAH HAH! UNCONTROLLABLE LAUGHTER!!!
“Just remember that without us Americans, practically all of Europe would be speaking German and maybe Japanese.” Erm... you’re aware that Germany is in Europe, right?! And I personally wouldn’t mind. English is a naturally retarted language! There is no poetic element in it whatsoever! And Japanese is the most beautiful language in the world! I wouldn’t have minded that too! At least, if we did speak Japanese - you stupid americans wouldn’t be able to understand us (and we wouldn’t have been able to understand you - which is even better!!!)
Ad, by the way, American troops have killed 12,000 INNOCENT IRAQI CIVILIANS in that conflict - and America has had no more than 800 deaths! I don’t have any sympathy for you whatsoever! That war should’ve never gone ahead! George Bush (both of them!) are dunses! Why was Saddam in power for 12 years before you decided to get rid of him? There would’ve been many other, much for peaceful ways to sort this out. But gun totting america couldn’t grasp that concept!

Disinformation is a weapon of mass destruction
You could a Caucasian or a poor Asian
Racism is a weapon of mass destruction
Whether inflation or globalization
Fear is a weapon of mass destruction
My dad came into my room holding his hat
I knew he was leaving,
he sat on my bed told me some facts, son.
I have a duty, calling on me
You and your sister be brave my little soldier
And don’t forget all I told ya
Your the mister of the house now remember this
And when you wake up in the morning give ya momma a kiss
Then I had to say goodbye
In the morning I woke momma with a kiss on each eyelid,
Even though I’m only a kid
Certain things can’t be hid
Momma grabbed me
Held me like I was made of gold
But left her in the story untold
I said, momma it will be alright
When daddy comes home, tonight

My story stops here, lets be clear
This scenario is happening everywhere
And you ain’t going to nirvana or favana
You’re coming right back here to live out your karma
With even more drama than previously, seriously
Just how many centuries have we been
waiting for someone else to make us free
And we refuse to sleep
The people overseas are just like we
Mad leadership, amigos, unfettered and free
They feed one the people they’re supposed to lead
I don’t need it
We need to pray away
For the lord to make it all straight
Its only now we do it right
Cos I don’t want my daddy, leaving home tonight

First, yes... I have been to America! I didn’t respond before cause I was so enraged by your idiocy! I went to New York - and never again! We were there for 2 weeks, and got mugged 3 times!!! NEVER AGAIN!!! And don’t even talk about your police force - they really DO eat a lot of donuts, don’t they? There was a box of ’Dunkin’ Donuts’ on the dash board of every cop car we saw! And they wouldn’t even file a report on any of our muggings! Lazy!!!
BTW: I don’t know... maybe you never read or something... but the ’erm’ symbolises reading something - and then being baffled by its stupidity! I really should’ve put 700 ’erm’s’ in there - that would’ve been more appropriate
And how many topics have you replied with ’ ...’... you know, a simple ” ” would do...
And I think you’ve totally forgotten everything about the Iraqi war! Everyone was against that war - except your people! What - did 50,000 people protest in New York? A population of 12m, and only a fraction could be bothered to come out! You know, 45,000 protested here in Ireland! We have about 4.4m people here and 45,000 of us came out - what does that say. And it is ALL OF YOUR PEOPLES fault for putting Bloody Bush in power.
And, let’s not forget - it’s your government that started EVERYTHING! It’s your country that imposed those sanctions on Iraq (and let’s not forget the “Oil for Food” programme, and that led to starvation!
It was Bill Clinton who was, in 1996, signing deals with Al Quida for their oil. How do you feel, knowing that it was American tax-payers money that more than likely paid to train the pilots who crashed into the WTC?
And then September 11th happened, and your stupid government started throwing bombs everywhere!
You know - I dont know why there isn’t more hatred for Bush in America than there is!
You’ve blown up hospitals, schools, water supplies, electricity supplies, bridges, imposed ’curfews’ on normal people. You’ve killed 12,000 innocent Iraqi civilians. You’ve RAPED prisoners - which is the treatment Saddam gave his people!
All this - and you still haven’t found the items that this war happened for - WEAPONS ON MASS DESTRUCTION!
You’ve made things X50,000,000 worse than it was with Saddam. The majority of normal, everyday people had security under Saddam. They had jobs, they had stability, they had money! Now they have nothing! Both Americans and Saddam’s followers are killing everyone in sight! The only jobs are with the police force or the media or hospital work! the majority of the older people have no experience with the other 2, so the Police Force it is - and, as you could imagine, Saddams followers don’t apprepriate that!
Bye bye America... at the rate you’re going now, the country will be non-existant in 25 years! Every other nation in the world will come together AND BLOW THE SHIT OUT OF YOU!
By the way. Tell Bush to stay clear of Ireland! If he visits here, he’ll get killed!

Really? Well then I guess I’m intelligent - cause I did write it!
My comment is true, by the way! Bush is planning to come to Ireland at June (probably hoping to scam the Irish/Americans to vote for him!). THERE IS BLOODY OUTRAGE AT HIS PLANS TO VISIT IRELAND! He’s planning to come here, with his 10,000-strong entourage, all of them with at least 5 guns... and there’ll all being a big bunch of idiots! In case Bush isn’t aware, it is illegal to carry a gun in Ireland - so this means that Ireland will HAVE TO CHANGE IT’S CONSTITUTION in order for Bush to come here like he plans (with his 50,000 guns ablazing!!). Is it only me who thinks this is wrong - that a country will have to change it’s constitution just so some moronic imbecile can come here with 50,000 guns just to scam the voters in his own country? WRONG! WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!
Thank you for your support Lawyer! I was beginning to think that I was the only one with sense here!

And I know where you’ve been
And I know that I’ve been lied to
Cause I was in the middle of my shower
When I heard your house was falling down
Decided I’d believe it when I see it
And if it was true I’d hear in town
You were probably lighting candles to conspire
And now your house has caught on fire
That twisted house that everybody knew
So I’m never gonna go to never gonna go to
Never gonna go to that place again
No I’m never gonna be there cause I don’t wanna
Be there
I’m never gonna go there again
Never again
I know what you are
You’re a very special person
And a most interesting
You really make me wanna go to sleep
That’s why I never wanna see you I never wanna
See you
I never wanna see you again
Never again
I’m never gonna go to, never gonna go to
Never gonna go to that place again
No I never wanna be there

This was one of my faves..
I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud
By: William Wordsworth
I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o’er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
Continuous as the stars that shine
And twinkle on the milky way,
They stretched in never-ending line
Along the margin of a bay:
Ten thousand saw I at a glance,
Tossing their heads in sprightly dance.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Out-did the sparkling waves in glee:
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company:
I gazed—and gazed—but little thought
What wealth the show to me had brought:
For oft, when on my couch I lie
In vacant or in pensive mood,
They flash upon that inward eye
Which is the bliss of solitude;
And then my heart with pleasure fills,
And dances with the daffodils.

There’s haggis and some sausage rolls and also some black puds
The smell of salt and vinegar and the sight before my eyes
Makes my mouth start watering as I ogle all the pies
I think I’ll have a can of coke to wash down all the grease
And hope to God I don’t regurgitate the mushy peas
Oh I love fish and chips I do you really cannot beat them

Yes, I’ll Marry You
Yes, I’ll marry you, my dear,
And here’s the reason why;
So I can push you out of bed
When the baby starts to cry,
And if we hear a knocking
And it’s creepy and it’s late,
I hand you the torch you see,
And you investigate.
Yes I’ll marry you, my dear,
You may not apprehend it,
But when the tumble-drier goes
It’s you that has to mend it,
You have to face the neighbour
Should our labrador attack him,
And if a drunkard fondles me
It’s you that has to whack him.
Yes, I’ll marry you,
You’re virile and you’re lean,
My house is like a pigsty
You can help to keep it clean.
That sexy little dinner
Which you served by candlelight,
As I do chipolatas,
You can cook it every night!
It’s you who has to work the drill
and put up curtain track,
And when I’ve got PMT it’s you who gets the flak,
I do see great advantages,
But none of them for you,
And so before you see the light,
I do, I do, I do!

I don’t like William Wordsworth. I think the majority of his poetry is emotionless. He’s just far too descriptive. I like it when poetry moves you and makes you feel something. That’s why I love Sylvia Plath.
Mirror
I am silver and exact. I have no preconceptions.
Whatever I see I swallow immediately
Just as it is, unmisted by love or dislike.
I am not cruel, only truthful -
The eye of a little god, four-cornered.
Most of the time I meditate on the opposite wall.
It is pink, with speckles. I have looked at it so long
I think it is a part of my heart. But it flickers.
Faces and darkness separate us over and over.
Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me.
Searching my reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those liars, the candles of the moon.
I see her back, and reflect it faithfully.
She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.
I am important to her. She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me - she has drowned a yound girl, and - in me - an old woman
