Yep you’ve got it ! its now 10 years since roxette was high in the UK album charts with CBB i saw it in the sunday paper magazine made me smile :-)).
I know they can do it again with a good album and a little promotion they did it with WICF , they know they can do it ! !

Vixz, I was on about the charts! I was that sad! Also got on CD, tape & LP... and the whole display from record store, re-created it at home! Hehehe!
I was a let down though... I didn’t go into buy it, had college so friend picked it up, promised he wouldn’t listen to it, but he did... GRRR!!
I was in town at 7 am on the day Sleeping In My Car was released though. :D Skipped college if I remember correctly! OOPS! Stores didn’t open until 9, but guess my friend and I thought there might be an influx of roxers all queuing to buy! ;) Hehehehe.

SIMC.....I had to rush into town in my lunch hour to buy that ;) First thing I did was look at the cover and think OMG! what have they done to their hair! *roflol*
antz said on April 27, 2004 11:59:
totally agree Vixzter ..When I first picked up the SIMC cassingle, I looked at it for at least 10 minutes, examining the cover and reading the track listing wondering why I had never heard of Roxette doing MTV unplugged (WTF?). So there I was standing with my mouth open, then a sales person, came up to me, looked at me strangely and asked if I needed any help ( I was so embarrased, I said no and left the shop!)

Its been a while since they had a top 10 album alright. I think part of the problem is that there is never any heavy promotion when they release a single/Album

When WICF was released here, I spent a week in London with friends, they promoted it well then I thought! Was a busy week! :D
When M&T&H was released, they only did a few things, so only went for the day. And when they came out of one interview, they seemed very pee’d off! :(
Which makes me think they’ll not bother with us anymore if they were to release again. *Sigh*

I was only 10, feeling a bit sentimental were you? In saying that, TBH creeping into the chart at no. 11 was a surprise. Maybe there’s life in the ol’ dog yet. Goodnight, oam
