SHOULD ROXETTE DO ANOTHER MTV UNPLUGGED

REALLY HOPE SO

They SHOULD but will they be allowed to do it?
Don’t think so...Besides, isn’t Unplugged pretty much ’yesterday’..

Yeah, an unplugged tour would be too cool! :)
I wish Roxette would have been/ would be more to the touring side...Kind of like Bryan Adams who seems to be on the road non-stop.
Imagine, unplugged tour at smaller venues (Stockholm’s Cirkus, Amsterdam’s Paradiso, Helsinki’s House of Culture).

Is MTV Unplugged still working?
Never see a MTV Unplugged from any band since years, if I see one only a repeat from a earlier show. :-

I don’t think I’ve seen any Unplugged on MTV Nordic for a very, very, very long time! Besides, they’ll never air Roxette’s ever again for sure...Do they even have that?! Think it’s gone down to pin like most of Roxette’s video clips (Fading Like A Flower, the original The Look, Almost Unreal etc - - not seen on the last Roxette w’end, in ehm, 1999 or the Rox section at Access).
animalkingdom said on April 22, 2004 19:49:
Orrr wait! They do have “Cry” listed... That must be from the very Roxette unplugged! He he :)

I fully agree with animalkingdom. I very much doubt that Roxette will ever get the chance again to record another unplugged session. I might be difficult even with another album, I am afraid.

Good idea. Doubt it’d be an MTV production (it’s American after all), but still. No harm done in another live acoustic show.

Do you know the show “VH1 Storytellers” - a sort of umpl. for VH1 Europe. I think they would be great there! I saw the “old” bands there and even Tom Petty and Euritmics (and Travis as well)...I like it a lot...It would fit very well Rox’s personalities...Per would tell a lot of nice stories there...
The idea of an umplugged tour is f****g great!!! I think is the only way to imagine Marie on stage again...And maybe Rox’s new album should be a more acoustical one as well...Oh, what a great idea...too bad it will probably never happen...

Guess not...
Anyway, who’s waiting for another version of The look?
I’d rather listen to something new if I’m the one to choose. Actually, anything will do for now, even another unplugged if that’s the only choise... :-/

Yes, they should... Can you imagine a “Stars” o “TCOTH” unplugged version ? Really cool...
Roxlander said on April 23, 2004 18:21:
@LittleGirl, the MTV Unpluggeds are still working, but all I’ve seen lately are from Latin stars, for example Mana, Alejandro Sanz, Shakira, and the new one of Diego Torres.
hotblooder said on April 24, 2004 08:35:
Well Done..!! As they’re have a new songs and new kind of unplugged version of their own.
japeke said on April 24, 2004 10:17:
@gessleism: Roxette already played stars as a almost acoustic version.... during their showcases for the roomservice album. too bad they didn’t play it that way during the RS-tour.

ye they should do another mtv unplugged . Or VH1 unplugged lol
abysmo said on April 30, 2004 11:31:
There wouldn´t be any Rox MTV Unplugged. MTV forgot for Roxette. Where they played any Rox song for the last time. And remember for Top 10 with Jonas Akerlund. He shoot half of Rox videos and there was no one played. Where are times when Joyride plays on MTV ten times a day.

EVEN IF IT’S ONLY TO REASURE THEIR FANS
