South vs. North

I remember Per wondering if GT could still take over the Northern Sweden... However, after checking ticnet it seems the demand for the concerts is nothing like in the southern parts of the country. Skellefteå, Sundsvall and Falun have all plenty of room meanwhile many of the gigs have already sold out in the south.
Do you think the sales will equal in the end...?

@ Strest
What exactly do you mean? The invidual concerts sell better if there are others around in a short distance?? *puzzled*
@ harriej
Well, there are more concerts arranged in the south due to that! Still, is their success related to the geographical location? Think it is....

Oooh, this sounds like a task for multiple regression! “How much variability in ticket sales is accounted for by geographical location after partialling out the variability due to population and inter-city distance? Please answer in the space provided and show all of your work” (4 marks) (-:
(Sorry, couldn’t resist, I teach statistics...)

90% of all swedes live southern of a line near Stockholm... sure the southern concerts sell more!!
*edit* the southern cities are easier to reach for foreigners also... =)

animalkingdom: just like harriej said, most people live in the southern parts of Sweden.
And you could somewhat easily see maybe 5-6, or even more, concerts if you wanted to.
That’s not the case for the ppl living in the northern parts, they’re lucky if they get to see one of them

You have to remember that the cities in the Southern parts of Sweden’s much closer to each other
