Euro or Dollar

It’s logical that most amounts concerning Roxette, Per, GT and Marie mentioned at TDR are in Swedish Crowns (SEK).
But why are these always converted into U.S. Dollars? Since the Euro now is another major “worlwide” currency, and a lot of people at TDR are from Europe (Spain, Finland, Holland, Germany) I think the Swedish amounts should be converted into Euros instead of Dollars. Of course the Dollar is a reference point for Asia, Africa and South America, but people from these countries are converting them into there own currency anyway (I think...).
Any comments on this?

Would be to much of “extra” text don’t you think. However it would be an advantage for both of us... ;-)

you can always go to xe.com and use the currency converter :)

Remco, thank you for your comment. I think our articles should always include a conversion to a more global currency. I apologize that sometimes we have left it out. I will remind our news editors about the issue.
Even though we have very many readers - and even editors - outside Europe, I think the currency to use is Euro. Mostly for the reason that Per and Marie are from Europe.

Ally, don’t worry, I don’t want to exclude anyone from information, but I was just thinking that concerting into Euros would maybe make more sense (see arguments above) ;-)
@roxeteer: I don’t mind if you sometimes forget to include conversions, that was not the point of my post... You guys are doing a great job. It was just an idea!
