Today I got by chance the first CD of this Swedish singer, “Cajsa Stina”. My swedish teacher bought it a few years ago.
He doesn’t like her... but as I know he doesn’t like Marie either (I tolerate that because there isn’t so many swedish teachers around here for me to choose... jeje), I wanted to give the CD a try (he told me: “The music is very quiet... like Marie’s”).
I’m listening to it right now... and I kinda like it.
I also find the music similar to Marie’s (well... kind of), though I like Marie’s voice more.
I haven’t payed attention to the lyrics yet... so I can’t comment on that.
Is Cajsa well known in Swedish?
Do you like her music?
Are her newer material similar to this?
I’d like to hear (err.. read) your comments...

Thanks! That one isn’t in Cajsa’s first album... so it must be newer.
I’d like to hear something newer. Her first album is nice, but it sounds a little dated.

I don’t think “Av längtan till dig” is on any of Cajsa Stinas albums. It is not even her song, hihi! It is another swedish artist called Åsa Jinder who wrote that song. So the song is therefore on an album by Åsa Jinder called “Folkmusik på svenska” sung by Cajsa Stina.
But it IS a really cute song! :-)

I only know one song by her (“Av längtan till dig”) and that one is really really cute, I think. :)
