I remember doing this kinda discussion when this site launched its orange look but wanna do it again.. Anyway, what do you think of these not-so-much-talked-about roxette songs?

a) Happy together
b) Shadow of a doubt
d) Bringing me down to my knees

a) I remember some UK reviewer say that HT was stronger than the actual A-side of the single where it appeared on...I think WICF is one of Roxette’s greatest but this one got magic too!! Wish they would’ve gone and re-recorded and added real drums and a little more edge to it. Lyrics are simply great! 9/10

b) A terrible black out to many I think...The atmosphere of the song is brilliant...Would like to hear it live someday.. Sax is fab! 9/10

c) A little weak...The last 45 seconds are the greatest..Otherwise a bit too pop! Even this got ahead of “Entering Your Heart”?? 7/10

Happy Together should be a single. That’s all I’m saying about that one. ;)

Shadow Of A Doubt (and View From A Hill) is one of the best songs they’ve ever made. I just love Look Sharp! These songs are so 80ish ;)

Happy Together... Not bad... Great B-side, but needs something, if it’s more that b-side. Lyrics are 10/10

BMDTMK... 7/10... Not my favorite...

Happy together: doesn’t sound like a “finished” song to me. Needs more real instruments.: 7/10

BMDTMK: weakest ballad on Room Service: 6/10

Shadow Of A Doubt: nice one: 8/10

Happy together: One of the best roxette songs. I love it. I don’t like to play it with my guitar, but I love to listen to it.

Bringing me down to my knees: Marie’s voice sounds soooo sweet in this song.....

1) Shadow of a doubt
2) Happy together
3) Bringing me down to my knees

Happy Together is one of my all-time favorites. Love the lyrics. Should’ve been included on The Pop Hits EP along with Crazy About You and I Remember You.

BMDTMK is good too—love the first line especially.

A great forgotten song is “i could never (give you up) !!!!!!

I dont think i have ever heard anyone mention that song before!!!!!!!!

Its such a perfect 80’s song!!!!!!!!!
And just to think...it was never on the vinyl version of look sharp!!!!!!!!!!!!
