Freys!
Across the road from where the Arlanda train arrives in the city! Close to central train station, great hotel, even better breakfast, bar and the rooms are great!
*EDIT* just remembered the bar is a BELGIUM BAR!

Freys is great, but not so cheap. :) The beer bar is excellent.

@ Tevensso .... Awwwww hooray... someone who know the freys... I have been staying there everytime I visit Stockholm since 1998! I love it.... it’s rather like a second home! I have found though for me it is cheaper to book the accommodation & flights cheaper as I can save around £100. I got 2 nights there in August for only £119, which was a real bargain as they upgraded me to a double room! FREE... love all the staff there so friendly... and the bar rocks! :)

You can’t get single rooms, but double or a bed in a bigger room.

It´s in Södermalm and I liked it.With the underground it´s 2 or 3 stations to the Gamla stan.
I also think it´s not a good idea to go to Maries house.What do you want there? It´s a private place.
