It’s great, isn’t it? It’s been a loooong time since I laughed that much in a movie. I love that sort of stories which mix happy and sad moments in that special way. And the germany synchronization with Anke Engelke and the Bully-guy is fab as well. Great joyride for a tiny fish!
kachina008 said on November 27, 2003 10:21:

Jud (moderator) said on November 27, 2003 10:27:

I love this film , when that blue fish was talking whale i neally wet myself laughing lol.
LittleSpooky said on November 27, 2003 17:30:
The ONLY good things about the movie:
Ellen DeGeneres as Dory
Willam Dafoe as one of the other fish.
That was a dark and depressing movie. If I EVER have kids, they ain’t seeing it until they are like.... 20!!!!!!!
ally77 said on November 27, 2003 18:15:
Not seen it yet, but want to thanx to Manda little obsession with it!! (bless her) tempted to buy the R1 DVD or should I wait for R2!! ;)

I find the trailers already fantastic :D
“OK,jump in my mouth if you don’t wanna die” :D
Jud (moderator) said on November 27, 2003 20:30:
i think the film is actually not so targeted to children.. some of the comments in there.. are more adult jokes.. “why do men always ask for directions?” ;)
the disney part is that all have to be a big family and help eachother, friends etc, when they are in trouble and that life is wonderful with these helping friends :D
Denstandigaresan said on November 27, 2003 22:26:
There are far more adult ’jokes’ in the film!
#No eating here tonight, eating here tonight, you on a diet# :D
Denstandigaresan said on November 27, 2003 23:17:
Let us all say the pledge
“I am a nice shark, not a mindless eating machine.
If I am to change this image,
I must first change myself.
Fish are friends, not food.”
Dolphins... they think they’re so cute. “OOOOH, look at me, I’m a flippin’ little Dolphin, let me flip for ya, ain’t I somethin’?”
HAHAHAHAHAHA! LOVE IT!
Jud (moderator) said on November 27, 2003 23:24:
and and when those bombs explode and a bubble goes up to the surface where 2 pelicans are floating on water, bubble pops next to pelicanA and pelicanB goes “nice” and flies LOL
and and..
when they are swimming down the dark looking for the goggles and Dory goes like
D: sth got me!
Marlin: It’s me
D: Who r u?
M: who am I? what do u think?
D: Are you my conscience?
M: yes, I am. we haven’t spoken for a while. how r u?
D: can’t complain
M: Good. Now, do u see anything?
LOOOL
“Nemo? That’s a nice name”

I went to see the film with Connie, my (previous) German teacher Eva + gf (bout 35) and her mum (bout 55) and her mum has seen it again cuz she loved it so much!! So now we are jealous + thinking of going to the cinema again .. jeez we are nuts, we even email in whale and on wednesday when I went to the German course, I always meet Eva during the break, we started to speak whale and to laugh, yes, looked like 12 year old :D But she confessed she goes further, she + her gf sms in whale too!
“I can read? I CAN READ!!” :D

*Sits watching, ’Finding Nemo’*
“I’m a pi-ran-ha, they’re in the AM-A-ZON”
I LOVE ’My Bubbles’... and Jacques. :D:D And Debs... and her sister Flo’ “Don’t listen to anything my sister says, she’s nuts”. :D:D
“WOW, the big blue... what’s it like?”
“Uh, big and... blue”
“I knew it”
Ok, I think I shall now shut up!
Where am I going? I’ll tell you, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney, that’s where i’m going. :D
I’m happy to find someone that is my age, that loves it as much as me! WOO YEAH!
NEMO RULES!
’Monsters Inc’, has now taken second place!
Anarem said on November 28, 2003 02:58:
OMG! This is my favourite movie, especially when Dory forgets that Marlin was following her, and she’s threatening him, her little fishy fins looking like she’s about to put up a fight! (“Do ya? Do ya? Do ya? Do you want a piece of me? Yeah, yeah, ohh, I’m scared now... whaaaat?”)
LittleSpooky said on November 28, 2003 03:01:
*takes the DVD and jumps up and down on it repeatedly*
coyboyusa said on November 28, 2003 05:03:
the funny thing is this movie well the concept sat on the shelf for nearly 10 year...c an u imagine if disney had insisted it be hand animated like the little mermaid? which was another great movie....i can’t see it being half as funny...ellen degegers is such an underrated comic :)
Majdy said on November 28, 2003 06:28:
the best movie of the year!!!
it’s even beaten the matrix reloaded at box office chart!!! wow, can you believe that???!!!
my fav character is Bruce!!!!
“I never knew my father”
ha.... ha.... ha...
can’t stop laughing to many scenes...
I saw that three times on the theatre and three times on VCD.
Jud (moderator) said on November 28, 2003 08:39:
true hand animated wouldn’t have been as good..
Ellen is just simply fantastic. I got her first dvd-show from 2000 and I started laughing as soon as she stepped on the stage and didn’t stop until the end.. well until that girl comes to her and they hug, then I cried, but of joy eh :)
“Shampooing first time anyone?” :D:D:D
“have you heard bout Gloria Stefan?” :D
Btw, don’t u think Dory looks even a bit like Ellen? LOL
Denstandigaresan said on November 28, 2003 11:02:
I don’t like animation as much. Computer is the way to go.
LS... Hugs and kisses FN DVD. WOO YEAH.
I think the little Ink octopus, is GORGEOUS! Honest! The little expressions on her face! AWWW! “Aww, you guys made me ink”. CUTENESS!
Jud (moderator) said on November 28, 2003 11:13:
LOL I had forgotten bout the octopus.. damn I *need* the dvd (or pay another 6€ to see the film again) :P
Denstandigaresan said on November 28, 2003 14:19:
Judith, if you can play rg1 dvd’s get it! From CDWOW, it’s £14.99, and I can get you money off. ;)
DVDsoon is cheaper, with free shipping right now. But they are said to be slow on delivery. But never used them so can’t say myself.
If you can’t play rg1, what is your player, maybe you can hack it. ;) Mine is hacked, can now play all regions. :D:D
You HAVE to get the DVD! MUST! NOW! GO! ;)
coyboyusa said on November 28, 2003 14:41:

Do you know kids in Belgium are buying “clownfishes” like a madman?? :s:s:s
Denstandigaresan said on November 28, 2003 19:07:
That’s true of everywhere. A new tropical fish shop opened recently, in the advert were two Clown fish. >:(
Out of all the cuteness, some evil must follow... this is quite funny though!

Starrox said on November 28, 2003 19:25:
I got the RC1-DVD from DVDSoon for about 15€ - it took like a week for it to arrive here in Germany... not that long, I think!
Denstandigaresan said on November 28, 2003 19:39:
Yup, it is indeed cheap. I got mine for £11.99 on CDWOW, as I had loads of money off vouchers. :)
coyboyusa said on November 28, 2003 22:48:
lol its kinda sad now clown fish will go extinct cause of a disney film
Denstandigaresan said on November 29, 2003 00:38:
Yeah. Was the same when 101 Dalmatians was released. They’re cute for a week or two.
I have visions of thousands of Clown fish floating upside down in fish tanks all over the world. :(
Anarem said on November 29, 2003 01:09:
Or visions of little kids flushing their aquarium fish down the toilet to set them free...
MiracleMan said on November 29, 2003 04:07:
That was a warning all over the news here when the film came out. Someone from the sanitation department even said there’s blades in systems to help break down the solid matter in the pipes. That’d be really crappy sushi.
Ferdan said on November 27, 2003 09:31:
