’Into The West’ , is the new annie lennox song , form lord of the rings - return of the king film. WOW I LOVE THIS SONG, its perfect piece of music with perfect vocals from a world class singer. My fave song of the year me thinks :-)))). Im most likely on my own with this one though lol.

Really looking forward to Return of the King, and I think the song goes quite well with the feel of the series. It’s a nice, strong vocal performance, as well. A good movie-song companion with Love Song For A Vampire.

I’m a big Lennox fan. I was not that thrilled when I heard ’Into the West’ though. Maybe because she didn’t write it? Dunno.
Now ’Love Song for a Vapire’ is a different story. That song is beautiful but haunting at the same time. I just love it.
There’s this site called E-Thrill were you cand find updated info on Annie Lennox and Eurythmics (http://www.ethrill.net) They had a complete coverage of Annies recent US promo tour.

Personly I like it very much. Acctually, my first thought was that it wouldn’t fit the LOTR. But then I felt something in this song. It’s very melancholic and it will go very good with the end of the film. It sounds more pop, but I see it more like “back to reality” after the film.

It’s good, not her best though.
