St. Lucia is celebrated all over Sweden and Norway on December 13th. Lucia is honored by having a Lucia pageant where a young girl ischosen for the coveted honor of playing the “Lucia Bride”. This girl will be dressed in a flowing white gown with a red sash around her waist, she will wear a crown of lighted candles on her head. The
chosen Lucia is accompanied by a bevy of maidens who distribute food and drink.

We are pleased to announce that Internationalswede has arranged for a great holiday party Saturday, December 13, 2003.
