duet with Kylie?

what do you think of my idea of Marie doing a duett with Kylie for the next Rox album?
I think Kylie´s girlish and sensual voice and Marie´s strong voice could suit together very well.

I don’t have anything against Kylie, I used to be a fan of hers in 87-89 or so.. even though I don’t like her newest stuff so much.. it is still a lot better than all those wannabees that call themselves “artists” ;)
I just don’t think their voices would fit that well.. but this is also just my opinion.
On the other side, I would really really really love a duet of Marie + Eva Dahlgren.. both sides have been told bout this wish of mine already, now it’s up to them *please please please*

Well of course it isn’t going to happen, nor anything like it - because Roxette are Per and Marie, not Per and who-ever happens to be near the studio at the time.
Hypothetically, though, Kylie Minogue hasn’t got a strong voice. She has a light, airy voice (pleasant with and suitable for her own material), with little of the body to it that Marie’s has - and I doubt that it would suit Per’s songs at all.

But I think the trend today is to pair up with somebody younger. For example: Sting & Craig David, Phil Collins & Bone Thugs and dare I say it... Madonna & Britney. There are others but cant think of them right now.
