HEY!

:)

Tom Petty
The Ramones

The Kinks, The Beatles!

when per was at school he was the only kid who liked david bowie, he even dressed like him, he laughs about it now but he is a bowie fan.

Norah Jones

Britney Spears.

The first concert he went to (according to what he said some day) was one of “The Hep Stars”, in which the ABBA members started, I think.

I remember an interview from 2002, he said that likes “eminem”...I think he likes a lot of groups...he always listens music of different styles... bowie v/s eminem... very different styles!

ABBA’s Benny Andersson was in the The Hep Stars, who were the “Swedish Beatles” of the 1960s. Through bad management, the group fell into severe debt, and a lot of the money Benny made from his early years with ABBA had to go back into “Hep House”, the bankrupt company owned by him and the former Hep Stars members.

I believe I read somewhere that Per said that the song he’d most like to have written was ABBA’s ’S.O.S’ (music by ABBA members Benny Andersson & Björn Ulvaeus, with lyrics by the same Björn Ulvaeus, plus their manager Stig Anderson). While I’m rambling: Europop group Edelweiss sampled S.O.S for their 1980s hit “Bring Me Edelweiss”, after getting written permission from Stig. Benny and Björn sued Stig when he claimed that the part used in Bring Me Edelweiss was written by him. More problems followed and the partnership between the now-disbanded ABBA and Stig became less over the years. Stig died in 1997, and Björn, Benny and Frida attended his funeral. Agnetha, who was unable to attend, commented that all the legal problems were “a sad and sorry end” to their working relationship with Stig.

I do go on.

ABBA of course. In an interview with a german newspaper he tells that and names S.O.S. as his favourite ABBA song and “Super Trouper” as his favourite ABBA album.
