The AC Mix has no overdriven guitars, the rest is just like the Gatica Mix, which does have the guitars, differently sampled drums and some extra muted guitars plus a new string arrangement on keyboards... That’s all... About the 12” Mix, it’s another way of naming the Gatica Mix (appears so in the bootleg “Rox Remixes”).
Hope this could have helped...

“To see the world through different eyes...”, Roxette!

I’ve noticed i have 3 versions of FLAF that all sound the same- AC Mix, 12”, Gatica Mix??

Are they supposed to sound different, or did the person who uploaded them just label them wrong?

dunno about 12”

but i think that Gatica and AC are the same version...

Gatica made the AC remix i guess.

Funny, as I have that same one doubt regarding 2 mixes of “Dangerous”: ’extended club mix’ and ’waste of vinyl 12” mix’...

Then again, also 2 mixes of “Dressed For Success” have me wondering: ’success mix’ and ’the remix’...

Thanx if anyone can clear it for me. :)

FLAF (AC Mix) and FLAF (Gatica Mix) are different.
That’s 100%.
DFS (Success Mix) and (The Remix) are also different mixes. The first on is actually the long version of “New Radio Mix”

@antimario - any chance that you know what makes them different? different drum beats, piano, guitar etc

What does AC stand for anyways?

AC = adult & contemporary. AC Mixes are always much more soft and “gentle”. Gatica mix has slightly diff. drums.

i’ll have to have another listen, i was really listening out for the drums, not taking any notice of the guitars.

By the way, the Gatica remix has special effects on the vocals in the chorus, different to the album version. The AC mix as well?
