The Best Roxette Song

If i was to Name my favourite Roxette song out of the whole lot i would say Cinamon Street was easily my favourite out of all of their songs. Everything in that song is perfect, the arrangements, singing, how it fades in and finishes a true master piece i was upset when that didn’t make it on the Best of the Euro edition and neither did Church of Your heart which is my second favourite

Hmm... I’ve to divide into genres as well:
Pop Tune: Dangerous
Rock Song: Sleeping In My Car
Dance Track: Stars
Acoustic: Here Comes The Weekend
Sweet ballad: Milk And Toast And Honey
Hymn: Listen To Your Heart
Mystical ballad: Wish I Could Fly
Melancholic Ballad: Queen Of Rain
Eeeh, I could go into 200 genres... ;-)

I don’t quite understand why Cinnamon Street is so popular—the music is good, but I was listening to it the other day, and it reminded me why I consistently skip that song when i listen to Tourism. The lyrics are just awful in spots. 7 o’clock, the breakfast treat? Makes me just absolutely cringe every time I hear it.
That said, I do like the alternative versions. . .maybe because I can forgive the god-awful lyrics with Marie singing them—they don’t sound as ridiculous. Those versions are far more sulty, it becomes a much sexier and totally redeems the song for me. If that’s what you’re talking about when you call it a perfect Roxette song, then I understand, but the version on Tourism, as is—ya lost me. Completely.

Uurrgh...
My favourite Roxette song tends to be the one I’ve just listened to - but then changes as soon as I listen to another (and it doesn’t seem to matter which one, from which period or of which style). I honestly cannot pick one single stand-out song.

I can’t name any. Just can’t.
MiracleMan: Those who have Cinammon Street as their favourite, can relate to it. This song is one of my favourite Roxette song which no matter how many times I listen to it, wouldn’t bore me. It makes my heart ache cause it takes me back in time to our old street where i have so many memories in. It depends how you relate to a song, not whether others like it or not.
