Coincidense? Don´t think so.

Do we???????????????????????

If I do it’s only because I do think the same. What the hell that’s gotta do with coming from the same place? So no germans agree with other germans etc then, or swedish with swedish, etc etc?? :S
It’s just pick on the UK people day eh?
Tsk. Well, i’ll be damned.

Na, no sex for me... cuppa tea satisfies me more than a man ever has! ;)
Mwhahaha!

@ La Man

Ok, it’s a fair cop.... Yes... you’ve sussed it correctly... It’s been a massive conspiracy all this time.

All the residents in the UK (60 million) have pre-arranged to meet on this humble forum and unanimously agree upon everthing and anything that is submitted by a fellow Brit.

No special reason... we’re just funny like that.

@Steven: Yes, I agree....
Sorry couldn’t resist!

@ Denstandigaresan

...and I agree that you agree.

@Mands: With Brrrritish men I can see why a cuppa is beddah... ;)

:(:(:(
Well, maybe one day, i’ll get to experience a swedish man(YEAH, AS IF!)... *Comes out of dream mode*

@ tevensso

Such cheek! ;)

Mind you... having seen some of the British lasses it’s quite fortunate that they prefer tea to sex.

I’M JOKING!!!! (before anyone starts picking on me) :)

OOOH STEVEN! EHEHEHE! Cruel man, so cruel. But alas, it’s true! :(

@ Dent:

What’s true? That Tevenso is a cheeky bugger? ;)

I agree with both of you that you both agree to agree on the same subject! AMEN!

And if any cute Swedes would like to offer me and Den the chance... please comment here!

Was about the british girlies... but yeah, tevensso is a cheeky one! ;)

Ooooh, ally, you thing you! ;)

*Vixzter dis-associates herself from the lunatic fringe of the British public on this forum* ;)

I apologise for my lack of spelling ;) but you get my drift? ;)

What I like from the british is that they are keeping Crespo and Verón far away from my town....
thanx!

OKAY—Just the Brits on the chorus. . .

“Theres nothing wrong with being scary....it keeps ppls away from our island ;P” You mad, Vix?! LOL We’re gettin em all comin ere!!!!

YEsterday when I tuned into this thread, there were only 4 replies! Today it’s 2 pages wow!! Good job Brits.
I can say I always loved England, dunno why. I find england very interesting. Most people do not like Brits where I come from and I think it’s because of their politics which I don’t give a crap about. I love London and how lively it is. I also like Brits themselves. I always liked to marry a Brit heehee. But now I really like northern europe guys. Swedes are very very hot woooooof. But hey that’s just a stupid generalization. We got some very cool Canadians here. I still like europeans better. More classy, better style and oh well :D.

Hook? Hook? I’ve never seen Hook, is it any good? :D

What’s up with Hook tevensossososo?
Hooke’s Law: F=kx

Ooh Fliss, you’re a feisty one! ;)
Notice how LaMan hasn’t come here to explain his ’observation’? ;) Perhaps we’ve frightened him off. Mwhahahaha. >;)

I told you we were scary!

I guess it’s the “Mwhahahaha” that scares people off.

MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

More like the sense of humour that no one seems to get ;)

Actually I love saying Muhahahaha! I even say it when dealing with day to day crisis :D

We can’t talk about sense of humours that no-one gets anymore vixz. ;) Especially our english one... Ooooh no.

Cor blimey!

MiracleMan... Cor blimey Guvner’ ;)

Any one for tea and scones on the lawn? perhaps followed by a light game of cricket?

I always appreciated british sense of humor! I think it’s great!
if you watch british sitcoms like “Fawlty towers”, “Monthy Python”, “Mr.bean”, “Allo Allo” or “keeping up appearances” you’ll see that I am right! :D :D :P

oh, I forgot “yes, Prime Minister” :D

@ Zaine, will u be serving clotted cream with the scones... ???

Keeping up appearances is a fave of mine. :D:D

I still don’t see LaMan coming in and explaining his meaning... Oooooh! :S:S

We’re a bizarre lot us brits... and who thought of nicotine coloured net curtains?! ;)

zaine it’s raining cats and dogs outside!

@ Ally. only the finest clotted cream. bought fresh from, er, Tesco...

Hmmm, you’re right about the rain though. how about monopoly? with hot chocolate. round the TV, watching The News?

Zaine... nooooo, REAL cornish clotted cream... now you had to have tried that when you were down here? Jam, cream and scones, with a nice cuppa... that’s often our sunday snack at tea time. :D

What, what, what... *Scoffs*

Anyone for scrabble?? a game of bridge maybe??
A nice sunday roast also wouldn’t go amiss! anyone wanna cook one for me?

Of course I’ve had the real clotted cream! we made some ourselves last time we were down there too. but I’m not travelling 35o miles or what ever just for a lil tub of it!!!
Its best when you sitting on the beach, with a cuppa. *memories*

Oooooooooh! Saffron loaf! I’m wanting to be back down there now!
@Ally, my nan sends some down at christmas, but other than that we have to wait. I might order some for my parents wedding anniversary actually...

So Den when is the chicken dinner day... I shall hop on the train with Alfie...

We got roast chicken tonight ;)

Oooh chicken dinner is about Wednesday next week Ally, enough time for you to pop down. ;)

That’s what I love about the European culture. North Americans try to be healthy and eat sh*t. Ah!

@DaminehGessle: You’d be surprised. ;)

Somewhere you can buy REAL devon clotted cream... and best bit is, it’s literally JUST up the road from here...
http://www.langagefarm.com/docs/clottedcream.htm
Oooh, and their ice-cream is to die for too!

Oooh and I must add, if you ever come down this way, try the turkish delight ice-cream from there... or on the hoe an ice-cream van comes from there to sell the ice-cream.. OMG, it’s HEAVEN!

http://www.roddas.co.uk/extra5.asp

This is what I have every sunday... Cornish clotted cream... YUMMMMMMY

I might well have to buy some of that for my folks. :)
do you know where I can get saffron by post too??

Yes yes yes! Indeedy I do. ;)

http://www.warrensbakery.co.uk/saffron.htm

I just have to go to the shop though. ;) Mwhaha!
A shop in Looe, well just off of it, sells ’Under the counter saffron loaf’... for the locals. ;) £1.50 for LOAF! It’s huge! And SO SO lovely. :D

Oooh I love living down this way...
REAL cornish pasties
REAL cornish or REAL Devon clotted cream
REAL cornish or REAL devon ice-cream
REAL Saffron loafs

Not that packaged up or immitated stuff. ;) Fresh made. Mwhaha!
*Looks at self, shows I like the stuff to! ;)*

Denstandigaresan: I grew up in Iran travelling to Europe every summer. So I have a pretty good taste of what good food is all about. Iran is the land of amazingly delicious yet unhealthy food. North America is weird when it comes to food!

Thanks Manda :)
We always go to Warrens when we down there, the one in Helston, so I know they’ll like this :)

No worries. Although it’s awfully expensive via the web. :S Suppose they wrap them so they survive the journey. :S:S

tell me about it.
but I know they’ll like it so might well have to do it anyways;)

@ Den... so ermmmmm when do I get my invite for a holiday! ;)

Anytime mate! Except, no doggies allowed... so I guess it won’t be anytime soon. ;)

Ahhh no mummy will doggy sit! :)

a cup of tea is good for me but sex is never far behind it.or is it sex first then a cup of tea?

Naughty!

haha. Sex and tea! What a combination. How about both at the same time?

Yuk!! No tea here!

after sex a cup of tea or 2 or 3 then back to bed and cor blimy. yahoo

Here orange juice is what people drink :)

you guys are weird...
;P

Dear dear, what did I start? ;)

who cares, lol. its halarious!!
BTW, any of you lot have herbal teas?? My folks are addicted *eeeugh*

muahahahaha

yep we is all a tad weird thats why i like it here with you nuts

Don’t got nuts, i’m female. ;)

Nah have tried to drink herbal tea on several occassions but hate the stuff... give me a normal cuppa anyday with a biscuit of course!

nope you have coconuts lolz ha haaaaaaaaaaaaa

it all depends which herbel tea you drink Ally there are a lot of good ones on the market and they do help now and again

I’m a Earl Gray man, myself. Darjeeling failing that.

herbals are weird!
they don’t taste of anything. They’re just coloured water that smells funny. eeeugh

I had to drink that Earl Grey crud at the hotel in Oslo, they only had that or fruit ones... no english tea... there was a space, was probably that. :( I couldn’t place the taste, but I certainly don’t want to drink it again! It was vile! Bleh! Gimme a good cup of tetley any day!

tetley lets the flavour flood through yea yea

Earl gray tastes like burnt wood ;)

Yesss... that’s what it tastes of! When you chew on a burnt out match! Only done that once mind!

try chinese green tea with ginsing. not bad

TETLEY?! The tiny little tea leaves Tetley? THAT’S real English tea?! That’s the swill they use to make iced tea her in the US. I was expecting maybe Typhoo, but NOT Tetley. . .

You Phillistines—that’s oil of Bergamot in the Earl which gives it a rich, strong flavor. Burnt wood indeed! Hurrumph! I would have thought that an actual Britton would be drinking something more. . . British than Tetley.

*Standing back and waiting for the barrage. . . *

Ok then picky... Typhoo! Tetley was the only thing I could think of at that precise moment of writing the message! :D

*uncovers head slightly to peer out*

Ok, Standigirl, that I can see. . . :)

omg, look how british we actually are. We have a thread in which we are talking about tea...

Quite sad really. We all sit around in evening gowns and slippers, sipping tea, eating victoria sponge... male folk with pipes. Roaring open fire, children playing back gammon on the lovingly carpeted wall to wall floor. Whilst granny tinkles a jinty musical on the piano. ;)

hahahahaha! I can just imagine me and my family doing that... ;D;D

Ok, UK—this is a cultural question for y’all.

What, besides a TV series—that I know—is Blue Peter? Is it a spy show? Sci-fi? A mega-cheese-fest?

I was watching a Britcom and one of the characters was an alum of Blue Peter and it seemed to make the audience laugh. Just want to understand. . .

Blue Peter is a boat... isn’t it?
It’s also a pub here in Plymouth... but I don’t think they’re talking about that! ;)

No, no—it was a TV series. . .it could have been a boat.

And what sort of pub calls itself Blue Peter? LOL

I’m curious now!

Ah one that has a boat on the pub sign?! :D

It seems, according to google, to be a rather long running children’s show.

Oh yeah... I thought that’s what you meant... Blue Peter... Simon Thomas.... PHEW BOY! That is one YUM MAN!
Been on for 42 years or so.

Blue Peter went seriously down hill when Goldie died!

;)

and how many more times are they gonna pack that bloody tortoise away for the winter??? is it still alive? I reckon its stuffed coz they just haven’t got the heart to ruin so many ppls lives by telling them.

Here’s one I made earlier :P

Noooo, I saw it wink! Ooh, ooh! :D That kid they had on the birthday show, flinging that poor George around like no-ones business! Poor lil’fella.

But still...ONLY reason I watch it, is for Simon Thomas.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/media/images/38258000/jpg/_38258317_cbbcprom300b.j... Not the best pic, but still COR!

*agrees*
Although I not watched it for ages. I once got my photo shown on BP, cos I sent in some stuff about one of the bring and buy things! hahaha
the thing that annoys me most about it is that Konnie woman! can’t stand her at all!

Oh my - he is quite lovely. Who is he and what is his role in Blue Peter?

Also, who is/was Goldie?

He’s one of the main presenters.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/bluepeter/team/simon.shtml
Yummmmmy!!!!!
Zaine... I can’t stand her at all... her droany voice goes right through me... GRRR!

Oh and Goldie was a dog. The show has had dogs since it started. And cats. And a tortoise called George.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbbc/bluepeter/pets/pets.shtml?b

tell me about it.
Me and my mum have good ’konnie impression’ contests. is quite amusing!! :P

Get down Shep!

Zaine, you to eh?? My mum does a good Konnie impression...
Don’t forget to emphasise the beginning of a word, like you’re constipated! ;)

Nahh... not Simon!! Ewwwhh!!! I prefer Matt... atleast it doesn’t feel like incest (blond & blond just doesn’t seem right for me!!!)

OOOOOOoops... did I just give my game away? 5minutes ago I was on Thomas’ case for havin a Spicewold DVD...mmmm... I should be more carefull in the future!!

LOL, thankyou guys for being so random! :-*
Matt looks like he doesn’t know what he’s ever doing. He just sorta sits there looking watery.
I miss Katie and Simon!!! (remember them?!)

Ewww no, Matt... he’s useless! And that stupid yappy dog of his... and who could forget ALLI LOOSH!!!!!! Whenever someone says ally... all in my house shouts Alli LOOSH! :D:D
Katie I didn’t like... she was another Konnie... the annoying voice.
Simon is to die for... i’d push Per out of bed for Simon! ;)

What a funny thread, we need that British Fun back on board...

God three years since this was started....

Where the hell did my life go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How the hell did Blue Peter get involved?!?!?!?!?!?!!?

Ally, how the hell did you find this!!!

Quite funny reading through it!!

I could just murder some clotted cream!
