Ok, the 18 bit wasn’t necessary, as that was obvious as hell... but are we not even allowed to discuss what it will be like?
And NO-ONE mention the 18 thing again... it was a STUPID question... but to archive a chat that allows people to discuss the concert.. is a bit off. :(
I’m going to the norway one, am I not allowed to mention that either?

The thread was started to ask about the 18 year-old thing, the question was answered, not just once, and that was all about it, why to go on with it? And some of you out there know that this would have gone on and on without end ;)
None of the ppl who answered in the thread neither the one who started it said anything like “winners, let us know how it was” or whatever. So far what was discussed was the age to get in such pubs/clubs, which I feel is NOT even about Roxette, not even sure about TDR, so off-topic? ;)
Anyway, I even feel stupid justifying myself here :S

Ally, ta for the welcome to TDR. And to answer your question about my fanclub problem. I got a reply from Chantie and she is (hopefully) sorting out my refund. Just hope I get the dosh quick so I can pay for my trip to see Per.

actually as far as I read in the contest page, deadline to reply was 24 hrs... I wonder why ppl participate in such contests if then they don’t know if they can go!!! If I would participate (i didnt cuz I cant go) I would have had everything planned already, had a flight booked (not payed, but normally travel agencies keep it for 72 hrs) etc etc

All very well prebooking things, but you need deposit etc, and cancellation of hotel(One me and mut will be in anyway) is a nights fee! So kind of defeats the object!
And as for flights... If you wanted to go with ryanair, you’ll probably be pooped there too. Flights this late, will be packed/full or VERY expensive.

And everytime I have booked hotels in Swe and other places I never had to pay in advance, and as long as you cancel ur booking the day before, your card should not be charged ;)

@Judith: on some websites you do have to pay a cancelation fee for hotel reservations in some cases its the full price of the room, but obviously not all web sites are the same.

An incomplete list of winners has now been published. The problem wasn’t actually that people wouldn’t reply. The problem was that everyone replied “sorry, can’t go”. Then we sent messages to the runner-ups who also replied “sorry, can’t go”. That’s why it has taken so long.

By the time I entered the competition I was not sure if I could make it or not, so I just entered it.
If I could have made it, I would never forgive myself if I had not entered.
So don’t be mad at persons who entered it and can’t make it.
I (unfortunately ??) have a life besides TDR.
Their tickets will go to someone else, so relax!!

I entered knowing I could get to either Norway or Finland and I even took time out on holiday to track down somewhere to check my mail on tuesday as I knew there was a deadline of 24 hrs to reply... people that have changed there mind when they have won are runing it people who could have got there but now have to short notice to book flights etc....

I think there is too much whinging going on here. You’re never going to stop people entering competitions, when they know they can’t go - so we’ve just got to chill & live with this little problem.
I’m not sure why ppl entered this competition anyway. I bought my ticket for the Oslo gig weeks ago and it was very reasonably priced. The flights etc were also fairly cheap too because I booked early. If I’d have entered and won the competition the cost of going would have been extortionate.
Finally, WELL DONE to all the winners - just hope you live in Norway or Finland ;)

Why archive a good thread? people may want to discuss it, what if the winners would like to discuss there happiness when being found out they have won.... Judith no offence but I think you where wrong in archiving this thread... :)
