@ xarrrr
- hej, you could set up a smart mail order business if you’re ever short of cash!
- I reckon there’s plenty of Brits who are pants at cookery but crave your yummy mazarins :-)
- all the best, Rich-UK

i dunno if this is off-topic, but i’ll post it here anyways.
a few weeks ago someone was askin who had a good recipe for Mazariner (i couldnt find the thread, sorry!) i found a recipe on google and changed it slightly.... and they came out super! heres the recipe:
Xarrrr’s amazingly fantastic super-easy MAZARINER!
Ingredients:
desert pastry for the base
100g butter
100ml sugar
150g ground almonds
2 eggs
preparation time: 1 whole run through the Mazarin album (seriously!)
cooking time: 20 mins.
HOW TO MAKE EM!
- roll out the desert pastry quite thinly (2-3mm) and cut in circles big enough to fill the cases in a muffin tin. put them in the muffin tin making sure they reach the top. trim the edges off with a knife.
- to make the inside mixture, warm the butter up in the microwave for 30 seconds. then add the sugar and beat it until it is creamy and fluffy. add the eggs 1 at a time. then fold in the almonds. dont stir it too hard or it will lose the air!
- put the mixture into the little pastry cases using a teaspoon. smooth the top over using the back of the teaspoon.
- put in the oven (temp 175 degrees or equivelant) and bake for 20 mins.
all you gotta do now is make up some icing (just icing sugar and boiling water) and put some on the top.
