Mazarin - One Of The Best Gessle-Albums EVER?!?

I think so. Maybe the best. (And when I say Gessle-albums I mean Roxette & GT as well as his earlier solo-projects). Mazarin has got something special that many of the other albums don´t have. It´s difficult to explain...it´s just something you feel when you listen to it.

Now, what do you think?

What I miss in the latest Roxette-albums is those classic drum-bass-guitar-songs. They tend to be a little to much electronic. It would be great if the future Roxette-albums would be more like C!B!B! No one write power-pop songs like Per. Just listen to Födelsedag & Spegelboll...OUTSTANDING!

I am with Denstandigaresan on this... Mazarin is almost all I have listened to for 2 months... in the car, on my MD, on Holiday... just love it....

Hard to say if better than Roxette as if I am honest I don’t listen to much Roxette stuff, prefer Marie and Per’s solo work, but I do agree JOYRIDE is a top album and will always be my fave Roxette album!

I think it’s indeed Per’s best solo album, as TWATG also is the best.
And I also think that Mazarin is better than anything done by Roxette, specially in the recent days.

You’ll find the lyrics in english(Or most of them anyway). I actually prefer to listen in Swedish... as in english, some of the lyrics don’t make much sense! Although, i’ve been told, some don’t in swedish either! ;) But ahhh gotta love Per! :D:D
