MAGAZINE'S YOU LIKE READING?

Here is new thread... what kind of magazines do other TDR members like reading?

For me, it would have to be the following:

1) MARIE CLAIRE
2) NEW WOMAN
3) COMPANY
4) WOMAN’S OWN (okay no laughing all those in the UK I only buy it for the TV news!)

Just tv magazines + newspapers

I normally read 2 - 3 spanish newspapers:

La Vanguardia
El Mundo
Diari Segre

and Austrian:

Kurier
Der Standard

austrian Magazines:

TV-media - to check what’s on tv

My gf also buys an austrian magazine called “woman” but I only read the part about Sharon Stone, Julia Roberts or some other fave actress .. I don’t like the rest of the magazine.

Ahhhh now I did not put my fave newspapers... so here goes:

Daily’s: “Mirror”, “Sun” (for all the gossip) “Express” for the news!

+ also read Aftonbladet & Expressen via the net!

Weekend... “Mirror” & “People”

Cosmopolitan,Fancy,Marie-claire,... :p
Ans also a newspaper :p

Helsingin Sanomat (the biggest newspaper In Finland)
Veikkaaja ( sportmagazine)
Jääkiekkolehti (ice-hockey magazine)
HIFK magazine (ice-hockey magazine of my favourite team)

I used to like two Spanish magazines: Bravo and Smash Hits. They always wrote something about Roxette, and posters too. But I never found Smash Hits anymore, and Bravo is now very different.

Now I rather read newspapers. I read “La Nación”, best Costarican newspaper. And last months I’m buying a new local magazine named “ATD” about a very popular tv show :-)

Was there a German magazine called Bravo once??

Was? There still is...

it has always been German.. :P

Bravo is German? I thought it was Spanish, sorry!

But there’s a version in Spanish right?

yeah there was a version in Spanish for a while :P

and there is a version in portuguese too :P

And there’s a Polish version, too, I think... *g*

I like to read:
- F1 Racing
- Newton (an Italian science magazine)
- National Geographic
- Science
- Mundo Científico (a Spanish science magazine)
- Guitar Player

And also newspapers, but mostly online, to practise languages:
- Dagens Nyheter (sv - my homepage)
- Het Laatste Nieuws (vl)
- Diario Vasco (basque, in Spanish)
- Marca (sports, in Spanish)
- La Gazzetta dello Sport (it)
- La Repubblica (it)
- Sydvenska Dagbladet (sv)

Music mags:
NME
Spex
Intro
Sometimes also: Musikexpress, Rollingstone

Others:
Newsweek
Spotlight
National Geographic (I usually just look a the photos)

national geographic
car magazines
fishing
nature and wildlife
i dont read newspapers same old crap everyday

The Face
i-D
SL
Men’s Health

I have been picking up girly mags these days (to read in the train)...cosmopolitan, glamour, company...

all these mags are targeted at these gorgeous, thin women with high powered jobs and loads of money. they go out and drink during the work week, have glamourous weekends, with a different man every month. These women need designer clothes, makeup and 3 orgasms every session.

SHEESH! get real!!!

makes me wanna start my own magazine for REAL women.

Yep, it sounds like Edina and Patsy from AbFabs (without the figures...)

Don’t like Magazines. I do read my mums take a break, or the sunday mag from the news of the world. But other than that I don’t bother.
I like wordsearches. :)
