JAI GURU DEVA OM

it’s from Acrross The Universe by the beatles. anyone knows the meaning? I’m so curious...

If u want the meaning of the title, here it is:
Jai guru - “jai” is a word in praise of something...so in this case it is in praise of the “guru” which means teacher.
“deva” is the term for a god. and “om” is a sacred word used to remember and worship God. It is chanted during meditation, and its utterance is supposed to bring you closer to the divine.

I’m not sure what it means as a phrase, just seems to be a group of words strung together. and the beatles also had Hindu influence on their music at some point. interesting. I hope I am right, if not someone correct me!!

thanks :)

I thought it’s kinda of mantra like “Inganakee Leo Io”

I just like the way it sounds...
