I was reading paper and saw a chart for 10 years ago, and roxette was 3rd week in top 10 with ’almost unreal’, and i thought i wish i was i remembered them, i guess i was to young, but i loved super mario film at pics, and remeber liking the song at the end lol,
10 whole years since a top 10 , ’sleeping in my car missed’ it.
and WICF JUST missed it. ( this is what happens with a little promo , JUST missed it , not nowhere near number 40 like most songs released lol)
still good times to come :)

Isnt it annoying that both latest Roxette success in uk ( TBH & WICF) both peaked at #11, just missing the top 10?

WICF had excellent promo considering! I had a busy week that week! But ahh, was good! :D

Why always #11?
WICF and The Ballad Hits couldn’t make it to the Top 10 just for 1 position!

“Sleeping In My Car” was a top 5 hit here in Canada. It stayed at the #3 position for seven weeks. I believe it was their last top 10 single here in Canada though.

Actually, the last top 10 single Roxette had in the UK was It must have been love. I think that was in the autumn of ’93. EMI re-released it when Pretty Woman was shown on ITV. It entered at #10. So IMBL was a top ten hit twice in the UK!!

Yes I remember that, the first time a reissue and its original to broke the top 10 in the 90s...
A masterful stroke of EMI-UK promotion one could say, now there’s a novelty!!! Rich-UK

Almost Unreal was #8 on the UK Chart in 1993.
Go on supporting Roxette.

I think the promo for WICF was very good in the UK, I mean #11 is a great position and it was better than any single from CBB and Greatest Hits.
