I seemed to have come up with a problem with ordering again at the fanclub. I ordered a copy of “Mazarin” on 15/07/03 and the payment was processed from my bank, I have since not heard anything or had my item delivered. I have emailed the fanclub about 6 times over the past 3 weeks and have NOT had any response from them over this matter.

I ordered “Mazarin CD + DVD” when it came out and got that no problem which I was pleased with, so a friend asked me to order the album for her.

Wondered if anyone has had any problems recently with orders placed?

I little angry and don’t think payment should have been processed till the album was due to be delivered!!

Think about, that they are in Sweden because of Per´s Tour?

I´m sure they´ll answer you after coming home again!

YES, we all have these problems, writing message after message and getting no response.
Try to write directly to [email protected]. She is very nice and may help you. At [email protected] they are totally overworked.

[email protected] is checked by Chantie, so it’s almost like her 2nd inbox ;)

The reason why your emails haven’t been answered is because Chantie has been away for 3 weeks, she is back now and she has started to reply to old emails the past days, so expect an answer from her soon!

Well, no I believe she just had a weeks holiday beforehand... but not totally sure.

what Chantie does in her free time is up to her, but no, she didn’t see all of them at all. She was first on “real” holidays for a while, and then she has seen Per I think since the tour start until 6th or sth.

Anyway, this is not relevant to know where she has been on holidays or not to what the subject is about, as I said, she is back now, so things will start working again :D

Things will always be the same...

I am getting a little peeved off with it now, endless emails to both Chantie and the main e-mail address and no response. It’s stupid and to think I was one of the people who gave them praise when Mazarin arrived with no problems...... seems we are back to square one and no one cares or gives a s***!!

I just want my money back now! I shall shop elsewhere, wonder how long it will take for a refund! ((oh.... forgetting no one answers the emails!)

I don’t think it has even been sent, as they normally email you to confirm it has been despatched... beside this does not answer why they do not reply to the frigging emails!

I am just so p***ed off with it now (excuse the language) I want my money back....

Yeah it is annoying, what annoys me the most is that I ordered this for a good friend of mine, she herself has bought loads from the fanclub over the years but mainly by snail mail, so she asked me to get her Mazarin via the internet!

I don’t get you guys. Every other week, you can read complains here of other fans about the shop of the fanclub. Now you order and what happens to you is the same thing you read at least 20 times before...just don’t order if you know that the service isn’t prof and you have option to order it elsewhere!

@ Stillfar.... I ordered because I have had no problems in the past... I ordered the Mazarin DVD + CD when it was avail and got it despatched the week it came out and I was REALLY pleased with the service!

I ordered again because a good friend also wanted a copy of Mazarin, that is when the problems arrived!

@ Rich-UK, Thanx for the support on this.... you see this is the most annoying, the fact that no one responds to emails.... I find that so ignorant of them! I mean they are quick enough at updating the fanclub website, but what about us, the people who pay to join and keep the website going!

well Chantie doesn’t visit this forum so she won’t read this.

as said before, Chantie has been on holidays and she is replying to emails as they got in her / [email protected] inbox. There are more emails awaiting a reply, not only yours ...and she is only human! :)

yeah sure there’s a simple autoresponse, but would it make it really nicer for the ppl who write to [email protected] to get an email saying

No, because since we cannot promise how fast we will get back to you, you end up with the same, waiting ... + desperated + complaining ;)

But if u really would feel better with such an autoresponse, I can talk with Eugene/ Chantie about it and see what we can do.

The emails DO get in the inbox, and if you don’t believe it, just send it requesting a read receipt :)

maybe something like

“I’m unable to respond to your e-mail at the moment, but I’ll be back 03/10/2006”

would do ;)

Maybe you can’t promise how fast you get back to the person, but since you already know that nobody will check / work on the e-mails, you could inform the clients of how long this person will be absent.

Okay, so I am having problems with an order and yes I am angry by this... but I will get over it....

Some fanclub people do there jobs, can I just say a big THANX to Eugene for emailing me the pictures of the meet & greet last week in Stockholm, your a star and I appreciate it!!!

So when you write to the info email address there is only one person who answers these emails? May I add Chantie did respond to my email about the meet and greet (in which I said I was very happy to be a winner) last week on 12/08/03 but has still not replied back to emails sent before then regarding my order! A little strange I think!

Well, it looks it is solved now, you got a friendly reply with a good reason for the delay (they are just volunteers who also died if they didn’t went to the PG-mazarin concerts), they are back now, and the CD is on your way!

But I agree it certainly would be a good idea to have an auto response on if emails cannot be replied too... give people a good idea when you will get back to there emails!

Seems it may not just be me affected.... I heard back from Eugene today at the FC and he confirms they are looking into a whole heap of Mazarins that may have gone astray, hopefully more should be known soon!

the emails in the [email protected] are read by more than ONE person, but it is Chantie mostly replying to the emails about the fanshop, because she is sort of in charge of it. I don’t want to say AT ALL that she is the one to blame on, I have always said and will keep on saying she has done and does a great fantastic job. Chantie rulez! :)

Ally, the reason why you got a reply about the M&G is maybe because it wasn’t Chantie replying to it OR she wanted to make sure before replying to see what was with your order, or .. or... :-)

Animal: didn’t really get your message, but it is true that Chantie doesn’t really visit this forum and DOES visit / participate in the R2R forum.

To sb else who said sth about serving the items.. the items ARE served, who said they arent? If I have to be precise and peaky ;) it looks like she ordered the item in mid July... if you read the shop Policy, you will see that it says an order may take between 6 and 8 weeks.. even though normally if the stuff is in stock and the payment is made by ccard, it is sent a lot earlier than that... and it’s now 4-5 weeks (and holidays are in between) ;))

AND I didn’t warn anybody about these threads because I have my 2 best friends from Spain visiting me the whole week and I have been away from home as a rule from 9 or so until 18.00 or 19.00 and I won’t spend the whole time in front of the PC while they are here.

Writting this while checking my mails, will be off in a while ;)

Look, we are not here to piss ppl off or to steal their money, even if some ppl do think so, just have a bit of patience and faith and understanding... all of the problems can be solved :)

@ Judith..... No one was accusing anyone - at the end of the day, you pay for a service you expect Service! anyway as I already said it is being looked into and I DO appreciate the help of the people at the fanclub, I know they run it in there spare time. Still think it would be a good idea for an autoresponse on the emails and perhaps I would have not had this problem.

Everyone else who emailed me (you know who you are), we are all in the same boat here, all I can suggest is keep emailing, I am sure they will get to you as they did me.

I have said enough on the subject now, I will let you know when my copy of “Mazarin” arrives!

No I cannot give you one, she is in Netherlands and she is the one who gets the stuff from EMI Sweden, puts it in envelopes + sends it.. I am in Austria (even though I am Spanish) and I have no control over when the items from Sweden arrive, when she goes to postoffice..etc :S

Well I am still waiting.... I will give it till when I return off my holidays in 11 days time and see what happens then??!!

In any case, the shop policies say the following (which customers agree on as soon as they submitt an order ;))

“Delivery Time
The average delivery time of an order is about 6-8 weeks. However, we have learnt from the past that items do arrive earlier than expected. This is depending on our suppliers, but don’t count on next day delivery. We can’t support that.”

This means.. sometimes it works in 2 weeks, sometimes in 8, sometimes in 10 :) The Fanshop doesn’t have a great stock, so many times they have to order to Sweden and wait for the parcel from Sweden to arrive, and as we said already before, they are SLOW :(

Ally, your order was placed 15/July, the 8 weeks haven’t passed yet ;) Be patient, it will arrive :)

I would not advice ordering from FC unless items are “exclusive”. If you’d like to order regular stuff like albums, singles, there plenty places that would serve you in fast, comfortable way and you would not spent such huge amounts. E.g. http://www.skivhugget.se/eng/ has very nice service.

FanShop IS business and for the customer it doesn’t matter whether it is profit-oriented or not, there are your private money on the table, that is what matters the most !

I had my expierence with FC, and I was sometimes happy with their services, but I would not choose them in future due to very long delivery times, inconsistent customer services and some strange credit card processing partner, which is not capable of handling some types of credit cards, that are welcome by all major online stores, such as Amazon or others

But it’s everyone’s choice to decide...

sure it’s not a must to buy at the Fanshop, there are plenty of shops out there, and I have recommended them more than once, such as Skivhugget or CDON, so just buy where you feel more comfortable :)

Ted: I told you before that the tourbook was sent to you not once but TWICE, you should check with the postoffice what the (hell) they do with your stuff :S

AND the Tourbook was released NOT even 1 year ago, December 2002, so it is a bit impossible that you waited for it 2 years ;)

The problem isn’t always with the FC being low on stock. I’m still waiting for a refund. It took about an hour to charge my credit card and weeks & weeks & weeks to refund it........ in fact i’m still waiting. There really is no excuse!

I’ve got the patience of a saint but this is ridiculous.

:( surprise surprise.... nothing from the fanclub!! so my order which should have taken approx 8 weeks will now be 10 weeks since I ordered on TUESDAY JULY 15TH 2003, in the morning, they processed the payment the same day and still no goods.... this is a friggin poor service.... I have emailed Chantie, I guess we shall see what the problem is this time....

God as I regular seller and buyer on eBay I have no problems shipping goods to Europe or Worldwide, usually they arrive within 10 working days, I mean Holland is only across the water! (I know it has to get to Holland first from the manufacturer, but still 10 weeks, is a longgggggggggggggggggggg time!!

What pisses me off the most is the fact that this was ordered for a good friend, I cannot keep making excuses so I am going to have to send her the money back she already paid me and this means I am going to be out of pocket, something I can ill afford at the moment.....

I am gonna complain to EMI this is not an official fanclub!! How can EMI recommend this as an official fanclub is beyond me...

BTW, I ordered my PPGS-single at CDOn last sunday, it was dispatched on tuesday and I got it on thursday...

Ridiculous??? Yep could not agree more.... if it is not being despactched till Monday why was I told 4 weeks ago it has already been despatched!! why lie to us, 10 weeks is way to long to wait for an order, esp when TWICE yes two times. I have been told it has already been sent... I have now been told I cannot have a refund as it is too expensive for the fanclub to process, this in my book is STEALING, the fanclub has processed an order and TAKEN MY MONEY knowing full well they are unable to despatch the goods to me within the 8 week period. To make matters worse they lie about orders saying they have already been sent when it seems they have not...

Chantie has emailed me again today, I am far from happy to wait but seeing as they DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, I have got no choice, I am willing to wait a little longer about another 15/20 days ONLY and then the fanclub have no choice but to refund me my money back, if you don’t I will TAKE THINGS FURTHER, this I can assure you of!

i understand completely that you are angry and i’m really sorry that it had to take this long, but we can’t give your money back. the costs of reversing a transfer are very high and we’ll have to charge you. that would be truly a waste of money... we’ve had more people waiting longer than normally, because of the vacation time and stuff.

I think there’s a little misunderstanding - I agree with you totally! With “ridiculous” I wasn’t refering to you but to the FC telling you time and again your order was sent out when they knew it wasn’t! There’s simply no excuse for this behaviour, not even holidays or post bags that disappeared somewhere...

BTW, I’m writing an email to you on that matter right now, too...

Okay it has been confirmed once again, that my Mazarin CD will be sent to the post office in Holland on Monday, it has not been sent before... so WATCH THIS SPACE!!!

Well I’ll back you up Ally. I’ll be taking things further too if I don’t received my refund soon (over £60). I feel like I’ve had my money stolen. Looks like I’m not getting a refund then if “they don’t do refunds”.

@ Mutley.... yep, I mean what kind of company take money knowing full well they cannot despatch the goods... My mum just bought something out of a sunday paper here in the UK, she ordered (send no money now!) got a letter saying item was ready to be sent please pay the £15.95. No problems mum sent the cheque which they cashed only to be told three weeks later the item was now not being made!! BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN READY FOR BEING SENT TO NOT BEING MADE, I have to admit they refunded her money within 10 days.

I am ok to wait another 15 days max, I am far from happy about it and have to be honest I am still going to complain to EMI about how this fanclub is run, as I am aware it is not just be having problems??

The reason for this thread (at least this is how I see it / why I keep replying here) is to answer people’s doubts about their payments/ orders etc. and act as a “brige” between Chantie /Fanshop and you, to help both Chantie and you. I do the same in the German forum (some people had some problems with receiving the order notifications by emails :S) etc etc. Some people (from both forums) have prefered to contact me (or Nadja in the German forum too) privately ([email protected]) to solve their doubts, some of them are solved, some are still pending. Working on it.

@Ally: I don’t know what has happened with your Mazarin, I haven’t seen Chantie on MSN for a while - so couldn’t ask her what’s up with your order - sent her an email anyway. MY guess is that there was a mistake with it, she thought it had been sent + in the end she realised it hadn’t... and it had to happen with YOUR order
:( Well, what can I say? not much I guess since it sounds as you already sentenced her. She is only human.. and I really don’t think she wanted to cheat or rob or lie you or whatever. I have also ordered stuff at other stores and I got the wrong CDs or the case without the CD in, and everything has solved smoothly by talking/emailing. I never thought they wanted to cheat me.

Anyway, I appologize on her behalf, I guess there’s nothing more I can do or say (except traveling from Vienna to NL and send the Mazarin myself - which I won’t do ;))

I KNOW how it feels to order something and waiting and waiting and waiting.. I also order stuff at other shops - sometimes it does take longer than the 4 - 6 days they tell.. like the last order I placed at Play.com.. it should have arrived in 4-6 working days, was sent on a Wednesday so it should have been here after a week.. and it took more than 2 weeks.. it is a present for my gf, thank god I bought it on time enough and it got here on time for her bday :D .. but I did have all kind of “nice” words for the postal service!! :S

So well, I hope your order is solved soon, whether with a credit, with money back or with receiving the CD (finally!), since I see you are talking with Chantie yourself, I may not get involved in this order/matter???? or????

I think the answer to why you have to pay in advance for the goods (whether if you pay by CC or bank transfer or whatever) has been given before.. not sure if here or in R2R forum :S

Btw, Chantie and Iris read the R2R forum oftenly, as you (Ally) should know because you also visit that forum quite often. I think I have seen a thread about the Fanshop there too, so everybody feel free to post your questions/ complaints/ doubts there too, so maybe you can also post your questions there and your problems can be solved faster.. :)

I was shocked when I opened the door.... I have now mailed it off to my friend, whom I am sure will be very pleased to have it at long last.....

Firsly, I’m really pleased that you finally got your Mazarin CD for your friend - about time too!

Secondly, I got my order today in the post. Brilliant, you might think, but I cancelled my order from the FC ages ago and didn’t actually want the goods sending. They knew perfectly well I wanted a refund. I’m trying to just keep my chin up @ the £69 it has cost me, but its difficult. The thing is, I had assumed I would get a refund and have subsequently bought most of the CD’s from elsewhere. Ah well, at least I’ve got something for my money.

Yes, I wrote to that email address on 14th, 15th and 16th August. I then wrote to Chantie on 26th August requesting the same thing - a refund.

I only wanted a refund as I had such bad service from them & I had heard a lot of complaints on forums etc. I just thought it was best to get out of it before I was messed about. I was wrong to assume I’d get a refund and I now wished I hadn’t gone ahead & bought some of the CD’s elsewhere.

I also purchased a membership pack and its states on the site that P&P is free if membership is purchased. I was charged nearly £10 in error for this.

At the end of the day, if I thought I would get anywhere with the FC, I would persue it, but I know that its like extracting teeth trying to even get a reply from them.

I’ll just put this one down to experience, I guess. I’m fairly cool about it really. :)

For anyone with problems in getting a refund from the FC, mention that they are legally required to give you a refund in cash in the Netherlands. You don’t have to accept a refund on your shop-account.

Still no sign of the review... wondering when it was posted.. as should only take 2-3 days to get to the UK...

was posted on tuesday (i think I read it somewhere).. didn’t get here in Austria either :(

Perhaps Monday will see it arrive, the UK post is not the most reliable in the world! ;)

there always problems with roxette nl. when you by
roxette stuf there they spend your money for buy computers and etc........... a years ago i order roxette stuf and pay. and i ghet no my roxette stuff.
