"You don't understand me"
TobyNZ said on August 8, 2003 05:38:
Have you ever felt misunderstood?
By a particular person, or by the world?
I‘m sure many people feel this all the time...
And I‘m sure many of you have stories to tell!
There are oh sooooo many things about me that are misunderstood, that if I made a complete list it would make the longest topic on this site ever!
But I tell you, one of my biggest things is when I (oh sooo many times...) say something with good intentions - and accidentally offend someone.
Maybe - the way things affect me - like relationships - many people don‘t understand how deeply they affect me compared with some other people...
I value understanding as highly important in any friendship. People who try to understand me will always be a help in my life. :)
You have stories? - I‘m sure you do...
Cheers,

I always feel misunderstood, by everything. Doubt it’ll change...much.

feeling misunderstood and being misunderstood are two different things

I understand you... or maybe not :-p
But, yes, I’ve got my own “missunderstand stories”, but they are so many and I don’t have time.
Just wanna say that sometimes I feel like a kind of alien, time traveler, or something like that, like I don’t belong here. I have many friends, and they’re great, so does my family, but deep inside I’m so different to anybody I know. I haven’t met someone even near to who I’m really are.
Well, I guess there must be a soul mate for me somewhere out there. And if I don’t find it, I’m thinking about havin a clon ;-)
