not wearing socks today! Because it’s ..eh...35 degrees Celsius over here.
and I also hate prof. basketball.
Green shirt today, but the car remains the same. Just like my age...
Shane said on August 7, 2003 15:02:
@Close2U
No socks - good choice when it is 35 degrees. And a green shirt - the colour green represents power and control!
No socks for me either, but I am wearing nylons - have to be a grown-up today! Still reading “The English....”, driving the same car and am still the same age - do not believe I want to get any older!
Have a nice day you sockless rebel!

yea i think that you are right @Euro4ever mostly girls/young ladies boy to be that age once again/yahoo
Shane said on August 8, 2003 23:18:
@Close2U - you said “Great weather over here by the way.” - where is “over here”?
The book (“The English - A Portrait of a People”) is about identifying those tangible and intangible factors that give the English their identity. It is extremely interesting.
And, yes, I do plan to continue getting older. I am just going to stop counting birthdays!
What is your sock colour today?

I’m going to drink some thea right now, just like the English do, and then back to work!

antz said on August 12, 2003 09:05:
I turned 28 two weeks ago & was a bit shy about putting my age up here.. .but oh well too late ( I am ok with it now)
Why are there not more of my generation here, the generation that grew up on Roxette in their early teen years?
P.S I am male
Shane said on August 12, 2003 16:50:
@Close2U - I am only half through the book, so I cannot tell you much yet, but it very interesting and written in that dry, English humour, which I love. I am reading it because my “roots” are in the UK - my family (both mum and dad’s sides) are from Scotland, Ireland and England. Are you wearing socks today???
@Derek - yes, I think you are fascinating! You call yourself a “Brit”, but in my book, there is a section on how terms like “British” and “English” were used interchangeably, but now, they have separate, distinct meanings.
Shane said on August 12, 2003 16:51:
@antz - I agree - people our age (I know - I am a couple years older than you) grew up on Roxette, which was more than a “band”. Roxette was like a feeling or a way of life - it was just so cool and comfortable - it was great!
derek said on August 12, 2003 22:38:
@Antz im way past your age (oldy)but age is just a number between your ears nothing more nothing less i dont even think about it so dont be shy and iv been a fan sinse roxette began in 86.
Hi Shane my family to started in schotland about 1100 but before that i havent got a clue. cave man i think
Shane said on August 13, 2003 02:08:
Derek - cool info about your family details - I think that is interesting. I am just leaving on holidays for a few days but will email you when I get back! Have a great week.
Close2U said on August 13, 2003 06:31:
Yes Shane, wearing socks today. I actually do not like socks, but to avoid blisters in these shoes I must wear socks!
Today i’m a bit of a slow starter, very tired....I’m 1.5 week before my vacation and time is going very, very...S-L-O-W-L-Y.....if you know what I mean.
Maybe coffee can bring me to life...
Bye
