Any People from Finland Here????
Waldo’s People “U DRIVE ME CRAZY”
WOW, this Song starts out like an Awesome Rock Track with Some Awesome Guitar action, than the Techno Beat starts, and the woman starts singing in this Powerful Voice. There is also some DEVILISH Male Vocals. It sounds Very Much like a ROXETTE Track, but with more Edge to It I think.
This song Simply KICKS A$$. It’s Wicked!!!!
I have their Full - Length First album, and the WHOLE album is Great. It is a Mixture of Dance/Techno and Pop. Unfortunately there is no More Rock Strings in the album, but the album is Still Great.
Some Songs are Done in Ace of Base Style (Don’t Stop Moving, Lets Get Busy)
Some Songs are More EuroTechno, like the Awesome “I Dream” or “Rain”, both of which a Wicked Tracks with Male Vocals. Great Melody Hooks too.
Also there is a Very Beautiful Love Ballad with Female Vocals and some male Rap called “Pray”. It is sooo Tender and Beautiful.
The album was produced by Ari Lehtonen (who wrote some stuff for La Cream and Tess)
Waldo’s People also Released a Second album called “1000 Ways”, but I never Heard It :-((

Hi!
I’m from Finland, but I don’t like Finnish music :) Well, The Rasmus (number one in Germany right now!) and Killer are ok. Did you know Waldo make cover Roxette’s The Look.

Finnish bands?
Juustopää and Threesome. I’ve once seem them (3some) performing at Jyrki’s TV-studios (Lasipalatsi).
My favourite however is ... JUICE LESKINEN. He’s certainly the god of Finnish music with good songs like viidestoista yö, Eesti, Jyrki Boy, Norjalainen Villapaita, Virsi, Kaksoiselämää and Skitsofrenia.
Unfortunately I left Finland 4 years ago. Can someone bring me in contact wioth the music of Anna Eriksson.
About Waldo’s version of The Look: haven’t heard that one. But I have heard ’Smurffit’ ’sversion of Sommartider. They played regulary at Ale Pub in Helsinki.
