Yes! I just cracked up when I heard that! Ive just given some more thought on the subject...and I recall 2 instances, some years ago, where I briefly met some male fans of Roxette, while browsing through cd shops.
On the first occasion, it was a bunch of 3 or 4 guys in their teens, they said that it was Marie, that attracted them, “shes’ so sexy” they said (they were practicaly drooling over Maries solo cds).
The other time was when the Crash Boom Bang single was released, this time it was a gay couple who said they adored Marie and her voice.
Of course then there is the other extreme:
When one of my friends found out that I liked Roxettte, he laughed at me, and started mocking. singing IMHBL. I felt I had to justify myself, it really annoyed me, I dont hang out with him much anymore.
