You Don't Understand Me

Why do some fans hate this song? For me it is so deep, so powerful, and it brought me and my boyfriend of 8 years standing together.
Surely, this is the most raw, emotive Rox song ever?

Thank you, my friend!
Yes, these are the lyrics that show Rox can portray real emotion! The lines that always get me are:
“tell me why it gets harder to know where I stand; I guess loneliness found a new friend; here I am ..........”
Gut wrentching or what?

Obviously many fans don’t understand it... Me neither, I hate it quite a lot! :D

We don’t like it, cuz it was not made by Per (alone or with some of their usual co-workers... it doesn’t sound Gessle-ish at all).
NickNL74 said on August 2, 2003 22:35:
it sure is one of their best songs and it certainly has got power!

santi : True I believe that guy his name is Desmond Child or something like that

It’s one of their good ballads.
The Abbey Road Acoustic version is the better than the original in my opinion.

I think the song doesn’t work and the videoclip is the worst they have ever made. I wasn’t suprised at all when it bombed in Australia.

It’s one of my favorite songs. And it’s my all time favorite video. The lyrics are so powerful and deep.
Mari said on August 3, 2003 05:12:
Well, I don’t like it. The song is kinda “empty”, I mean there’s no hooks.

I also prefer the Abbey Road Acoustic Session of the song.

soem peopel didnt liek the fact is was totally synthesizers and all.....honestly its a great ballad but i like i dont want to get hurt more ..it would have been a bigger single than ydum
Santi said on August 3, 2003 22:03:
I totally agree with coyboyusa, I don’t wanna get hurt would have been so much better!
antz said on August 3, 2003 22:56:
I like it, but its one of those songs where I can only listen to it once in a while, I think its the synthesizers they can get a bit annoying.
I love the Abbey road version, sounds great on the piano.
Agree that IDWGH would have been a better single choice.
