Info needed: Haverdal-house
Anbo said on July 27, 2003 19:46:
I looked at my paper clippings to find Marie’s house in Haverdal, but I sure can’t find it. Is the house in the papers really Marie’s house? Has anyone any info on that?
Thanks for all help!

What happened? I’m new to Roxette (I’ll still be saying that 10 years from now).

mmmm i think she fell when she was in the stockholm house, didn’t she?
Sascha said on July 28, 2003 08:31:
You shouldn’t disturb her at her private house. Watch out at the streets but always differentiate between public visible and private. Some years ago fans entered her ground, stole her mail and did other stupid things! Heavily annoyed, she even considered selling the house. Btw. I don’t know where it is.

I know what happened. I live in Haverdal and I just wonder because to me this house seemes totally unfamiliar and I suspect that it is a false picture. Living here I should know what it looks like... But maybe it only is a old or badly taken picture.
I strongly resent being compared to these stupid German fans who seem to be braindead, not realising which consequences their actions could have. Being a responsible adult, I would never dare to enter anyone’s property without their permission. Because I do not want them to enter mine neither... Stealing someone’s mail is even a criminal action and it would never occur to me to risk my future in order to read a celebrities mail. How interesting could it be anyway?
All I wanted to know was if these pictures really are actual pictures of her house in Haverdal. But if you fear that it would intrude too much into Marie’s private life, you don’t have to answer. The easiest way for me would be to just look out for the cluster of Germans, spending their holidays in front of an empty house. Sounds like an interesting way to relax...
Due to the impossible behaviour of certain German fans, my German friends have to listen to all kinds of remarks from the locals when they visit me. Germans do have a reputation around here...
I NEVER lower me to their standards!!!!
Lastly, I recognise that not all Germans are like that and I hope that someday, all of the braindead ones also will mature and GET A LIFE! (This includes also idiots of other nationality.)

To Anbo, it is the right house on the picture.
Can someone tell me what it is happened there?

“Lastly, I recognise that not all Germans are like that”
Nice to hear! It’s nothing but the truth. It’s a pity that only the BAD germans are recognized but not the ones who don’t do this stupid things like stealing their mail..
Well..at last it doesn’t matter what people are discussing..germans are always bad, nazis and what else..don’t ever try to get to know some germans and change your point of view..we are all the same! Caution: SARCASM.

Yes, Marie had a house in Haverdal Strand, i know it and i saw it some years ago, but i think that she changed it for the boat. I dont´t know but i think that she rented the house.
She was tired, the people didn´t respect her privacity, the house didn´t have any fence, the people used to go into, walk on the grass, shatter her flowers, watch through the windows...
Stupid people, a good fan should respect not disturb her. I´d never do something that could get her ungry.

If I remember well, Per said in an interview a few days/weeks ago that Marie still has a house in Halmstad. Err, is that picture visible online somewhere? Or am I just blind?
Btw, I’m german as well! ;-)
Roxeanne said on July 29, 2003 10:29:
You know Mari, I am a German fan and I have never been to Sweden. Yeah people, go and ask the stupid German fans... only that most of them wont have a clue...
Roxeanne said on July 29, 2003 10:29:
And Anbo: what exactly do you mean with “I NEVER lower me to their standarts”?
Since you seem to have German friends you can’t have ment it the way I understood. Please explain....
Roxeanne said on July 29, 2003 10:30:
People, please keep in mind that this is an international forum!
Anbo said on July 29, 2003 13:03:
Explanation:
I would never lower me to the standard of the braindead specimen, meaning I would never adopt their behaviour. Like e.g. trespassing onto their property or stealing anything in their possession.
Thanks for the information on the picture. That was all I requested.
Hope all of you that will attend the concert tonight will have a pleasent evening.

“Like e.g. trespassing onto their property or stealing anything in their possession.”
And you really do think that all german fans do that? I’m sorry for you.
Anbo said on July 31, 2003 12:13:
I do not think that all German fans do that, just the braindead ones. I did mention that I recognise the fact that not all German fans are like that and that even “fans” with other nationalities have problems with accepting people’s privacy and following the law. But it is a fact that German individuals pose the greatest problem here in Halmstad/Haverdal. And I am not talking about normal music-fans, enjoying concerts or collecting memorabilia. ONLY the rotten eggs...
Kiwein1 said on July 31, 2003 12:33:
Ok, I see! I just don’t like generalizations.
I would never dare to disturb Per’s or Marie’s privacy..never! It’s a pity to see that there still are some braindead fans who do that. I don’t understand that either. Thx for your comment!
CRIZ said on July 31, 2003 20:05:
I am really really pissed on that EVERYONE (it really seems so) STILL talks bad about GERMAN FANS...always ..I really can’t stand it anymore...I can’t nothing do about that my parents gave birth to me in this stupid country Germany....
I heard that YEARS AGO there were fans around who really couldn’t behave..these stories are still around even if these bad things happened maybe over 7 years ago. I’m pissed on! REALLY!
I never did such things and I’m in Halmstad very often because I love the summer-feeling, the parties, the beach, the people, the athmosphere...
If you really mean that not every german fan is a being without a brain than please stop writing it again and again everywhere...I already getting the wish to change my nationality soon if I should be honest...:(
Roxeanne said on July 31, 2003 20:18:
scoozee, CRIZ, but i think that there is absolutely no shame in being german (YES i AM aware of our horrible past, but past is past, right?).
Anbo, i got the point that you didn’t mean it in any evil way.
it’s just that in my oppinion EVERYBODY has to be careful in generalizing.
i mean, instead of “germans” Mari could’ve said “brainwashed” or “stupid” or whatever, cause that’s what marks them, not their nationality.
did you get my point? i hardly have enough vocabs for discussions like these... :-P
Mari said on July 31, 2003 20:51:
Hey ho! I have nothing against Germany or people there. I just wrote that fans who made Marie to leave Halmstad was from Germany. That’s it.
Roxeanne said on August 1, 2003 21:52:
but that information is not necessary, is it?
i’m usually not that narrow-headed, but stop the hell offending people, please!
you wouldn’t want that, either.
espacially since this is, as said before, an INTERNATIONAL forum.
White_Cat said on August 1, 2003 22:02:
Well, not all Germans are that crazy...but most of the annoying, stupid, crazy fans are German...anyone understands? I don’t care much about it, I think we just have to take things as they are and laugh about it.
I know how to behave...even though I am German *g*
roxing-Jane said on August 2, 2003 08:08:
MY GOD, how I hate this kind of discussion!!
It’s always the same, the BAD german Fans!!
I’m german too and I never NEVER would steal Marie’s post etc...but who cares?
This is exactly the reason why I hate now to say that I’m german, and why? Cause some stupid people think that when a few german Fans disturbed Marie’s privacy now ALL germans are bad..
But the best example was in Halmstad this week!
We were sitting in front of the fences (around 20 Fans) after some minutes there came an security and asked:” AH, are you the german gang?” with not that nice sound in his voice...
A REALLY NICE FEELING WHEN YOU ARE NOT WELCOME ANYMORE AND YOU NEVER DID ANYTHING BAD!!
Mari said on July 27, 2003 21:19:
Sorry, but why you want to know? It’s her private house. Let’s remember what happened Marie’s Halmstad house...
