yeah, there is a little connection between their look. i don’t think that celine is a ugly woman... but i have to admit, that marie has “class” with her hairstyle, celine looks with this short blond hair cheaper than with her long brown hair. my opinion.

I mentioned the SLIGHT resemblance to a friend of mine and he said....”Celine is much uglier than Marie!” I agree.....only a quick glance made them look alike. Marie is much prettier.

I more thought that Marie could be the daughter of
Patrick Stewart, who´s the Captain Picard in Star Trek The Next Generation. Especialy at the time of Sleeping in my Car, when she had the short cut. ;-)

I’m a fan of Celine’s french material (and the odd english album and single) but I think it’s a weird hairdo on her. I makes her look like Mary’s roomate on “There’s Something About Mary”.
She explained that she cut it because her hair kept on getting caught in the equipment while she was performing in Las Vegas.

I am so glad someone else noticed this. I saw Celine on VH-1’s 2003 Divas show and it was freaky - she had that short blonde hair and a George Hamilton tan - yikes! She kind of resembled Marie but only from a distance.
I understand the need for Celine to cut her hair, but I liked it better when it was long - very few women can wear their hair short and look as good as Marie.

I don’t like Celine’s short blond hair. I think she looked better when she had dark hair.
And nobody looks better with short hair than Marie. I always admired her hair cut and her look.
