I don’t have a car cos I care about nature and environment. And there’s always a public transport.
Shane said on July 18, 2003 14:55:
@Derek - of course you can have a ride - we can pack some bikes and hit some trails or go to the mountains and do some hiking..... Of course, right now, I have to wash it.
Vixzter said on July 19, 2003 16:25:
@Mari: If you relied on public transport in Britain you’d never get anywhere!
derek said on July 19, 2003 18:59:

Every day car: Mini Cooper S, 2002. Great car, maximum fun factor!
For the sunny moments in life: VW Beetle convertible, 1979. My first love, the sound still gives me goosepumps...

I just got my drivers licence last week so now I’m sharing a car with my brother. It’s a (dented) volkwagen Golf. I wish I could drive a Saab!
Santi said on July 23, 2003 20:29:
Thomas, your car looks a bit like the “Knight Rider”, you know, that car that could speak on the TV series :D
tevensso (moderator) said on July 24, 2003 07:40:
@Santi: LOL! The Knightrider car is a special model of the Pontiac TransAm, the big brother of mine, so it’s not totally wrong.
Shane said on July 24, 2003 21:59:
The Knight Rider car was a nice-looking car but would you really want a car that talks to you? I have enough people telling me what to do and where to be - I do not believe I would want a car doing it as well.
Sorry - silly thought - was a long day at work and my mind was wondering...
Santi said on July 29, 2003 20:21:
I’d love to talk to my car... I guess I talk too much anyway :D:P
I read yesterday in a book that there are around 11 million bikes in The Netherlands, and that Dutch people considers them more a part of their bodies than a mean of transport :DDD
harriej said on July 31, 2003 19:43:
Santi: True, I use my bike every day to go everywhere in the city.
I only use my car in the weekends, when I usually am going out of town.
