Mazarin drops out of Norwegian charts

:( Sadly Mazarin has dropped out of both the Norwegian official sales chart (#36, #19, #21) and airplay chart (only last week’s #38). And there a little note on Per in the paper edition, statign that even though Per tops all lists in Sweden, he has left the Norwegian charts.
To be honest this could sadly be somewhat expected due to lack of promotion, and at least airplay. I have actually never heard HKAK myself on any Norwegian radiostations at all! And that is important, you must get publicity. And also I think playback in general is a bad thing, and that crows and audiences see through that, so the appearance in Sommaråpent on NRK1 would have been better if it had been live, like Skansen the day before. And of course if people had got to here the whole Födelsedag.

Norwegians understand Swedish without any specific problems. Only a few words are unknown or different from Norwegian, so I don’t think that’s the reason. I fear that the lack of airplay, and important people in radiostations’ lack of believe in Per solo, or the type of music Per has made earlier might have contributed. But also many people don’t even know he has released an album, no commercials in newspapers ot TV, no advertising in the stores, and hard to find a copy of the CD in the stores is what I’ve seen.

I would say it is all about the willingness EMI* has to promote him = how many $$$ or SEK they wanna spend on him
* I know it’s Capitol now, but I am used to saying EMI ;)

Do Noruegan people speak swedish too?
Maybe it’s because they don’t understand Per’s feelings in swedish..
