When i heard the first single off of pers solo album I was all that thrilled, but thanks to rox service and the song samples for all of mazarin I really am gonna buy it. This has to be his most accessible non-ebnglish album ever..i think even my mom will like it. I just don’t undertsand why he couldn’t translate the feel of an album like this to an english solo work...it would carry well here in the states

Cuz his mother tongue is Swedish and he thinks in says, lives in Swedish, loves in Swedish... it’s much easier to express himself in Swedish for this... Not everything can be translated, because music is much more than words.
(it’s not just what they sing, it’s the environment in which they do what they do. He had no commercial pressure for this album, could be just himself).

I just ordered my copy of Mazarin (limited edition with DVD) from skivhugget.com last night after hearing only 2 other songs that I downloaded from WinMX. They sound fantastic! I don’t understand a word of Swedish, yet the melodies and arrangements really stand out.
