Believe me that 128-mp3 CAN sound MUCH better even than 320.
I had exampe (one Eros Ramazzotti’s mp3) but unfortunately lost this song. The sounding was amazing. So, my opinion is:
Everything depends on how song was decoded.
I hope you all will understand it some day.

Question about 128 vs 320 is silly, dude. See the Waveform diagram (in CE for ex) and you’ll see strong difference above 16KHz. Unfortunately my ears can distinguish that, not sure about yours.
320 only can lose if it’s JS.

Yep, marcus, I was suspicious you cannot rip it from vinyl :D
