How about Jason McCartney of the Kangaroos? He was a survivor of last October’s bombings in Bali. He looked good in his final game. First one back / last one played. He’s still tryin to recover from the burns to his upper body....

Derek: My pleasure. I watch AFL on FSW every chance I get... one of my dirty little secrets. Of course, after spending 2 years in England, and then watching an AFL match... I sound like a happy Aussie ;o)
Of course, I am an American. It just sounds weird is all at times.

littlespooky wouldnt it be a great match between a aussie team and a brit team (no love lost between the two)it would be fun to watch i really do miss the AFL damn the dutch tv stations

Great, I like Australian Football too. To the people who likes it (Littlespooky and derek) do you know any decent videogame on this?
I’ve read that there’s one called “AFL Live 2004” but it’s very bad, with a lot of errors, and the previous “AFL Live 2003”, but it’s out of stock (they say it’s better than 2004, as weird as it sounds :s).
I don’t know if there’s any other thing... for PC, I mean :P Any tips?
I also like the Magpies :D I got interested in this game in 1995 when Saverio Rocca played there, and I watched on tv the highlights every week... they didn’t make it to the play-offs anyway :(
LittleSpooky said on December 27, 2003 05:19:
Magpies made it to the Finals last season but lost to the Brisbane Lions 134 to 84. Ouch.

If you guys are into AFL, there is a very funny show that screens in Aus called ’The Footy Show’. You can get it on DVD, its basically a panel of very well known ex-footballers who get up to all sorts of stuff. I’m not actually into football (a national crime here), but I do find this show very funny.
I think they have a rugby one as well, but haven’t actually seen it.

Since the dramatic Barcelona ’99-final I became a fan of Fc Bayern München. I didn’t regret. Au contraire.
