But no, they aren’t big in the general public. They are what is called a “dance band”, which only plays at special dance places. The music can be compared to German Schlager. VERY main stream. Barbados is however a “new generation” dance band, so they have better (less bad) material than for instance oldies like Vikingarna (Vikinger in Germany) and Flamingokvintetten.
