Is Mikael Bolyos Swedish? (Born Swedish?)

dunno if he was born in Sweden, but his parents come from Hungary...

Precisely, that’s the idea I had, that he was Hungarian... (I think I remember reading once, on a Roxette Review, an interview with Marie where she referred to Micke as “my Hungarian”?...) But perhaps then it’s his parents who are Hungarian, but he was born in Sweden?...

Mikael himself was born in Sweden, but his parents are Hungarians. As far as I know, Mikael speaks Hungarian quite well.

What do you know about him? Is he a good man?

Mikaels mum Berit is Swedish, and his dad was hungarian.
He was born in Sweden, but he visited his relatives in Hungary quite often, according to an interview.
Marie said that he is from Djursholm.

Thank you everyone. :)

He must be a good man, definitely. He’s with Marie for 11 years, he was sitting at her bed every single night and day when she was ill.
As far as I know - I’ve read it in a topic here, in TDR, - he has very deep and warm voice, butI can imagine it as I just look at him. He’s a brilliant pianist, I love to listen to his play in the äntligen DVD.
And... at last but not at least, I am proud, that he is a half-Hungarian! :-)

his last name sounds like Greek to me.

maybe... if you say [bolios], but in Hungarian ’LY’ should pronounce ’y’ in ’yes’ and ’S’ is ’sh’.
So it’s: [boyosh] or something like this:-)))

Cool... Mikael “Boyosh”.

Boyosh, sounds boy-ish!

LOL

they pronounce it exactly like this actually in the few swedish video’s that i have where his names comes up!
