It seems to be modeled on 50/60’s Car Badging.

yeah i already tried 1001freefonts, but it’s hard when you don’t know the name of the font, and the search feature didn’t help me at all. Look like i’ll just have to keep on searching.

BTW - whatever happend to RoxetteCentral?. great site full of pics and fonts etc.
