Anybody heard her new single, “Pavement Cracks” yet? What do you think of it? I just heard it for the first time on MixMegapol (who, in the last three hours, has played “A Thing About You,” “It Must Have Been Love,” and “Opportunity Nox”!) and I quite liked it! For those like me who prefer Annie solo to her work in the Eurythmics, I think this song fits right in with “Diva”... kind of a cross between “Why” and “Legend in my Living Room.” Anyone else?

Very good song. I actually heard it for the first time last night. I downloaded it and had it on repeat. The song starts off as if it’s going to be a really slow, sad ballad, but then it picks up the pace a little bit. The lyrics are really special. And as always, her voice shines again.
Her album, ’Bare,’ will be issued both internationally and in the USA on June 9 & 10, respectively. Check out the limited edition with the bonus DVD featuring 2 live acoustic performances (’Wonderful’ and ’A Thousand Beautiful Things’) in addition to an interview about the new album. Sounds really good. :)

In all honesty, Annie’s music requires a fine ear... very often the music is only the meduim in which she transport a much greater message. That women is one big muse!!

seen her a couple of weeks ago in a little theatre...hell, she’s amazing. Might be the best concert I’ve ever seen! Listened to some songs of the new CD, very very good! Marie should listen to it to get some inspiration for her solo album!
