Anna Hansson: you have just made the hit of the summer!

Per Gessle: yea i read that too. we’ll see if it happens, but of course it’s great fun!

AH: what summer hits will you never forget?

PG: the first time i was on california, i heard the song Trouble by Lindsay Buckham, guitar and singer
in fleetwod mac. this song is, you know, a rented car on the freeway, your elbow outside the window and
this great song in the stereo.

AH: Describe your feelings at that moment

PG: its fantastic, there’s a sense of freedom in that state - the myth - and as a tourist you pick ut up
at once!

PG: one of the best songs ever written is a song by Buskocks (not sure about that name) ,end of 70s,
“ever falling in love”. we always played this song in the rehearsal studio when i was in gyllene tider.

PG: we feeded on songs like this one, so when i hear this song i think back to the end of the 70s. long
hot nights in halmstad.

AH: when you think about gyllene tider, you see images in your head (i do anyway). i see a beach, and i
see you there barbequing hotdogs. am i right when i see these things?

PG: naa it depends.. i am very associated with tylösand nowadays so i guess its a sensation now that i
reveal that i have never been swimming at tylösand.
my dad was a pipeliner, and he managed the watersystems at Frösakull, and there i’ve been..
so i’ve never hanged out around the tylösand area.. but at other places, there are so many great beaches
in halmstad!

AH: im in chock per!

PG: wanna lie down maybe?

AH: ok, lets play the 3rd song

PG: the third song is also a great one, it is blondie, heart of glass. when i think about a summer song
i think about the sound of simplicity and luxuriousity - and that you can find in this
song.

AH: what are you gonna do this summer?

PG: im gonna spend spend a lot of time in halmstad, work with my record. i will not do a tour, but i
might do a small gig somewhere, i havent decided.. u think i should do that?

AH: absolutely!

PG: ok.. guess i better do it then..

AH: you should have a premiere bath at tylösand anyway!

PG: you think so? yea well.. theres so many people, to messy!
