EMI Power Over Roxette

Hej
I was wondering... how many power has EMI over Roxette decisions ? I mean, I know EMI is their “Boss”, but still, do they have so much power that they can actually decide Roxette’s future ?
As long as I know it was EMI that released “Anyone” and not “Crush On You” as single, right ?
What do you think about that ? Does EMI really understand anything about music ? Does EMI did act like this in other situations ?
All the best

If they decided Anyone in stead of Crush on You, it proves they do not have any sense about music.

I think Roxette has the final power, because the CD’s sais: Copyright Roxette Recordings under exclusive license to EMI.... they can’t release anything wothout Roxette permission, or am I wrong?
