can anyone explain me why roxette only promote the album “ballads hits” only with the video “a thing about you”? if they want to sell more, they have to make more video clips, for example “breathe” is much better that ATAY and a video clip of that song will be great, dont you think?
i hope that with the album “the pop hits” they make more videos, not only OK.

Yeah, most likely it had to do with Marie. I imagine if Marie was well enough to do promo, we could have very well have seen “Breathe” and “Little Miss Sorrow” as singles.

Now that would be kind of hard to do with a song like Breathe. Don’t you think?? Because Breathe has as far as I know never been performed live at any concert, which means that it would be impossible to make a video out of that performance.
That is... if they don’t record all their studiowork as a habbit, then they could have used that... but I don’t think they do.

GtiG: remember that the video of silver blue was made with and old concert when the song not even was created, so is not necessary that they have played the same song live, but i think the same as you: that will not happen :(

forget Roxette in 2003 - Per is going to release his solo album and will - probably - be more successfil than Roxette. I also like Per’s solo work almost as well as Roxette. I’m a little bit sad cause it will be Swedish.
LMS would have been a great single - I like this song very very much. But it is a little Per Gessle song put onto a Roxette CD. ON too...
I’m afraid they have one more big attempt to have international success again, but if next CD won’t be that successul as one is used to Roxette, they’ll give up, and concentrate to solo careers within Sweden/Scandinavia and #maybe# cental Europe. I’m sure Per is not going to get out every dollar from the bandname ’Roxette’ under all circumstances, even if EMI wish to do so (see the latest Compilations)
I’d be interested wether it was EMIs idea to do so unnecessary Comiplations again or if Per really agreed to this.
So - I’m hoping for a really great album in 2004 - with outstanding suprising success, and a successful single again (not “only” No 1 in aitplay charts)

Per had success with Gyllene Tider, but his solo career is not as succesful as Roxette is, and i dont think he will have more cds sold in Sweden with his new album than with Roxette’s ones. I’m not saying he is bad in solo recordings, I like them and have them all, but its not the same ...
