I dont have any more news. I dont know more than you, cos you know now what I know. The news was that Karl-M is doing the sleeve - he only started on Monday when I started this thread. And you blew it out of preportion. Who said I knew what it looks like? I know in what style it will be, but apart from that Im just as in the dark as you. The way you people are carrying on makes me sick. But you know, from now on I’ll keep my mouth shut. Yes, I have 1 or 2 inside connections, but believe you me: from now on my info will be for the selected few.

It’s hard to see the picture, it’s kinda small. But it looks kinda cool and it doesen’t seems to be commercial cover, which is the most important thing.

And does it seriously matter what you think about his design? If you ask any designer - and I mean someone who has actually studied graphic design for 3 or 4 or 5 years, would tell you that he’s a brilliant designer.

AND, the difference between some1 who studied art/design and some1 who hasnt, shows when they make comments about art/design. Some1 who is in the field would substantiate their reason for not liking something. To say: “Oh, its crap. I dont like it. Per couldve done the writing himself....yaddayaddayadda” is not a valid reason. Then it’s about taste.
Same thing that’s going around about Jonas’s video’s. There’s an obvious lack of any artistic sense on TDR. It’s time I think people on this forum broaden their horizons. Start reading magazines like The Face, iD, Dazed, etc. maybe you’ll start appreciating the finer and funkier things in life a bit more.

About studing art or design... it’s nonsense, anyone have the right to say if he/she liked a cover or not. And just for you to know, my brother studied design for 6 years and he ALSO thinks that this cover sucks ! :) As you can see, it’s just a matter of taste !

I think what carbon boy is meaning is -if you study design you are able to have a more informed opinion. You are able to explain why a certain design works or why it doesnt. And you can appreciate certain aspects, that may go unnoticed when the inital reaction is that its crap!
With regard to the HAND album , if you look at his portfolio, you can see its quite different from all his other work. Looks like he was experimenting with a totaly diferent style.
Maybe it wouldve loked a bit better if it didnt have Marie doing her screaming thing ...again!
