I ´ve read in Swedish newspapers that a man has raped 2 women in Halmstad and tried to rape 3 others.
According to the police it was the same man.His fave place is a tunnel near Brunsåkerskolan.I know that I am not the only one who´s going to travel to Halmstad this summer, so I just want to say that be careful and do not walk in the town alone, when it´s dark.
But I really hope that the police will find this bastard.
( It´s not a bad joke , you can find articles on this in Swedish newspapers. )

Been lots of rapes and murders in the UK of late, and a lot of those murders were kids, or young women. It’s a piggin’ scary time to be living!

I am always reading in the UK papers about people who have been attacked and raped.... some sick people around.... I travel a lot on my own and have seen a lot of Europe... people always say how do you do it on your own.... you just have to be aware of everything.

There are some very sick people around, I agree on that. We were talking about this yesterday in fact. When i was in school they told us “if you are going to get raped asked the rapist to use a condom” which is absolutely the dumbest thing ever “Oh, hey... mr. Rapist, use a condom.. in fact I have a few which colour and brand to you prefer? May I suggest these, they are my fav” not to make a joke about that but honestly WTF?! I think it would piss the person off more and have you get hurt more. :P

does the states REALLY have that much crime (rape, murder, kidnap etc) that other countries in the world, or do we just hear about other countries less?
i mean horrific crimes like that guy in syracuse who abducted young women and kept them in a basement for months while controlling every aspect of their lives.
what do u think?

I think we hear about them less is the problem. A lot of crimes happen sometimes in areas where media doesn’t really care much. Or the sort of thing like the Ted Bundy cases where people were murdered but no evidence was produced to that effect. They were just missing people or sometimes thought to be runaways.
Also, can you imagine how many homeless people that are untraceable have been victim of a crime and it has not been put on the news? To think that someone actually gets off on it is terrifying really.

CULTURE comes from everything, for eg. if there was a TV show 20 yrs ago, saying a joke like the one you said... if the program was succesful, 20 yrs later the people would still do that joke, and accept it alright... not because they really think it is a good thing, just becuase it’s their cultural legate.

A woman was raped in february here in Sweden by 4 men and the bastards were acquited ´cos the women was drunk and according to swedish law a drunk woman can´t be raped , it called instead of “sexual exploiting” and gives very low punisment . Because according to the law, if a person doesn´t protest enough it means that she wants it . And a drunk person often can´t protest .It´s very stupid.
Next time they will find out that it´s o.k. to kill or assault drunk people ´cos they don´t protest enough either, which means that they wants to be killed.
And it´s 2003 now not the middle ages...

I figure the best punishment... whatever you got caught doing, have it done back to you.
Now this doesn’t work with things like Theft and such... but you get the idea.
You rape someone, pay some 300 pound dood named Bubba to do it back to the rapist.
Jail is just to good. You sit there for a few years watching soaps, working out, getting three square meals a day. I figure jail just pisses people off more, so then they become like the lions in a cage, itching for that moment to go out and explode.

Usualy the sentance is about 2-3 years in jail.....and maybe get let out early for good behaviour (how the hell does that work....you’re in prision for god sake how the hell do you do good behaviour?....if you were good in the first place you wouldn’t be in there!!!)

Yes, it´s so terrible . It´s the same in Sweden.
I´ve read that raped women are asked humiliating questions by the police about their sex-life and their clothes etc.
Raping a woman who wears short skirt and string-panties gives lower punisment than raping a woman who wears trousers and so on. There is no law about it, but it happens all the time.
That´s why lot of women never report a rape to the police.
Lots of stupid people says that it was the women´s fault if they was raped if they wore sexy clothes or were drunk, but nobody says that it was a robbed persons fault to being robbed if she/ he had rolex watch or Armani clothes and was drunk .....

I am NOT making excuses for raping (of course not, no way), but you people have to understand all men are horny and sexually active so that means all bordellos should be freely available everywhere instead of creating a national law to make prostitution illegal.
As long as human being exist there IS a need for pussy every then and now.
And I´m not talking about myself now.
Criminalizing prostitution could increase raping.

Maybe in your country they don’t allow it, but here in Austria and in some areas of Spain prostitution is considered as a job - they get medical assistance and go through tests every now and then. What is illegal is illegal-pubs where they offere these services, but if somebody wants to open such a local, he can - following some rules, of course.
In any case, i don’t find any relation between one thing and the other.
If you need to j/o every now and then, I am sure you have 2 precious hands which can help you out ;)

I have always heard/read that rape is not generally committed just for sex - it is more about the desire to exert power over someone else. People (mostly men, because they tend to be stronger physically) commit rape because they are trying to prove (in a very sick way) that they should be feared/respected/etc.
Storms message kind of scares me - I would like to think that most men have some restraint and regardless of their “urges” would not violate a woman.
